Great for parakeets and cockatiels.
Bought this for mainly my cockatiel but also my parakeet. I put a little removable athletic tape around the perch, and it worked perfectly. I didn't try it without since I had read the reviews. Great value for the item!

Bird shower perch
A waste of money! The add shows for a bigger bird and I have a very small bird and the suction cups would not hold her. Do not recommend for birds bigger than a parakeet.

The blue perch part is pretty slippery for my conure since there is no grip. The perch won't fit all the way into the base and as the day goes by it loosens under the weight of my tiny Green Cheek Conure so I have to readjust it (and yes I put it perch side up on my window, not sure why the picture has the perch side down, it would probably fall out of the center base immediately!). Its definitely NOT strong enough for a bigger or even slightly heavier bird. Overall I'm not happy with this product, but I am in a pinch for a new perch (my little dude like to chew the suction cups! ha!) so I'm not going to return it.

Me and my cockatiel love this. She joins me in the shower most mornings and she seems to enjoy the steam and the spray. It sticks well to the tiles in my shower. Because of the size of my tiles I only have the 2 suctions cups on the (horizontal ) side sticking to the wall and it has never moved or got loose. It's easy to clean too. I have it upside down from the picture shown.

For some reason everyone shows this with single suction on top and two on bottom. This is wrong. If you have a larger bird all of the force is on the single suction cup. You need to flip it and have two suction cups on top and one on bottom. Then two cups share the load. Took one star since pipes holding the suction cups a tad short. Otherwise works perfectly. I have three of these for umbrella cockatoo. See my picture how it should be used.

Good for the money
My girls use it every day to sit in the bathroom on the mirror. I have 2 small conures and they both perch on it and it’s never fallen or come lose. It’s super simple and pretty cheap.

Falls apart easily. Potentially dangerous for your bird!
The T connector doesn’t hold each segment in place very well. You cannot mount it as you see in the photo. It needs to be flipped 180° otherwise the perch falls off. I didn’t hassle with a return and instead glued it together to make it safe for my parrot. I’d strongly suggest you consider another perch and not makes the same mistake I did.

no one seems to enjoy it. The suction cups are nice and strong
I bought this and set it up in my shower to try and entice at least one of my birds into enjoying showers. So far... no one seems to enjoy it.The suction cups are nice and strong. It has not budged in 4 days since I stuck it on the bathroom wall. It held the weight of my 9 month old cockatiel.HOWEVER..... the blue part? Super slick - even when dry. My parakeet couldn't sit on it, even though it's really wide because it was so slippery. Because my cockatiel is still in training, I put a sandpaper tube on it because he doesn't have as much patience for handling and would not have tolerated sliding off very well. Obviously, at some point I'm going to have to treat this part of the stand with something because the sandpaper tube will eventually get too moist and disintegrate.
