Review: piece of crap - the product only works if the 'metal' end can sit on top of the actual 'thing' being tested. I needed it to just sit on top of the floor in my home, simple enough right? to start the cord that attaches the measuring metal end to the measuring unit needs to be perfectly straight in order for the measuring metal piece to be balanced on the floor. Well its not straight, it can not be held or straightened out. the vibration will not be accurate if it can't sit on its own on the thing being measured. Every time i try to place it on the floor it just falls over because the cord attached to it is bent every 4 inches from being folded add to that the cord it about 2 1/2 feet long. no way can it stay straight long it just falls over.
