The Sonos Beam Gen 2 has exceeded my expectations. Setup was straightforward through the Sonos app, and within minutes I had it connected and ready to use. Despite its relatively compact size, the sound it produces is impressive, with clear dialogue, rich bass, and a surprisingly wide soundstage. One of the biggest improvements I noticed was during movies and TV shows. Dialogue is crisp and easy to understand, even during action scenes, and the Dolby Atmos support adds an extra layer of immersion when watching compatible content. It creates a much fuller experience than the built-in speakers on my television. Music playback is equally impressive. Whether streaming playlists, podcasts, or movies, everything sounds balanced and detailed. The ability to expand the system later with additional Sonos speakers or a subwoofer is also a nice bonus. The only downside is that premium performance comes with a premium price, but after using it regularly, I feel the quality and features justify the investment. Overall, this is an excellent soundbar that delivers impressive audio performance, easy setup, and a polished user experience. Highly recommended for anyone looking to upgrade their home entertainment system.

This thing is awesome. Sounds great, easy to setup, not too big, and works well with my other Sonos speakers. I used to have a huge amp, wired speakers, and a huge sub. Now I condensed the setup down to a Beam, two Era 100, and the Sub Mini. The new setup might not get quite as loud as the old one, but still sounds fantastic and has way more functionality with my phone/technology as well.

I barely review products but felt compelled to give 5-star review. Replaced older and larger TCL soundbar and a huge upgrade. Have large living room and was worried about being loud enough, but the output is plenty loud and sounds all around great. One thing that could be a bit better is the mic for voice assistant. Is good but sometimes fails to pick me up.

Before purchasing a Sonos Beam, I had a larger, different brand, soundbar. It provided a more immersive sound than the built in speakers in my TV, but I needed subtitles when watching movies because I was able to discern only about 70% of spoken American dialogue and only 50% of the dialogue in British movies. Now, with the Sonos Beam, I can clearly understand 100% of American dialogue and over 90% of British dialogue. I cannot hear a difference between the Sonos regular setting and the enhanced speech setting, but being able to tweak bass and treble settings was helpful. I no longer require subtitles when watching movies on TV. The setup, via the IOS app, is straightforward and it would have been quick and easy to get the Sonos Beam to work with my TV except that I ran into a problem. Sonos tech support was excellent. They ran diagnostics and isolated the source of the problem as residing with the TV’s accessory HDMI ports, and not due to an issue with the soundbar. - Kudos to LG support for correcting the issue in minutes, right through the TV internet connection. - Once the ports were back in service, the Sonos beam recognized my TV in seconds. Had I not had the problem with the accessory HDMI ports, total setup time for the Sonos Beam would have been less than five minutes. The IOS app is easy to use but it’s a bit awkward. Volume control is easy to find and use, but getting to the page that allows you to fine tune the soundbar is not intuitive. And I do not like the prominent advertisements for other Sonos products. Ads should not be a part of a control device. But that’s a minor point. I’m pleased with the Sonos Beam and with the Sonos company. It deserves a 5 star rating.

Very happy with this soundbar. Setup was super easy. Way easier than I expected. I'm not technically challenged, but I have my limitations. It connected to our Samsung Frame Pro with zero issues. Without doing anything at all, the TV remote connected to the soundbar and controls the volume. The only hitch was that the mic button on the soundbar was unresponsive, so that was frustrating. However, it took less than 5 minutes to connect with a Sonos rep on a chat, and he/she had that fixed in under 2 minutes. Turns out you have to add a voice service to it..in my case, I chose Sonos Voice, and the mic light came on instantly. Although the sound is great, it really..I mean, REALLY shone when I connected my 2 Sonos One speakers as surround speakers. The app has a variety of controls for the surround sound and the volume level, balance, etc are easy to control. It would be 5 stars, but I have to remove a star due to True Play only being available from an iPhone. We have Android phones as well as an iPad Air M3, and the iPad will not function for performing the True Play. You would think that by now, Sonos would have figured out this limitation. I'm not sure how much the True Play will improve the sound as a result of this. Sonos' suggestion of borrowing an iPhone is ridiculous at best. When our kids eventually come to visit, I'll use one of their iPhones and update this review.

It took me a long time to pull the trigger on this soundbar. I read review after review. Why did I want a sound bar....I have a Samsung Smart "Big Screen" TV but was always dissatisfied with the sound quality from the on board speakers, even when I tried the different settings. My wife did not want lots of speakers and "stuff" but was ok with a neat sound bar. I looked for something with reasonable reviews and not over the top expensive. After much work I eventually selected the Sonos over several alternatives. It arrived and I set it up using the instructions, worked straight from box, no issues at all, so 5* for that. Second, the immediate difference in sound quality was great improvement over the on board TV speakers, I switch from TV to soundbar several times to make sure I was just not being biased because I wanted the soundbar to be better, it was, so 5*. I then scrolled through my FIOS channel selector and selected big sound movies, sports with crowd background, studio debates, nature shows with animal sounds with narration, cartoons and studio news programs, they all sounded better on the Sonos so another 5*. Lastly the looks, it is sleek enough to be unobtrusive and sits on a shelf under the TV without really being noticeable at all so another 5*. Overall I am very pleased with the decision to purchase this soundbar. I can't vouch for how much better or worse it is than any other soundbar, but it was worth the money for how much better it is compared to the TV speakers

Amazing sounding sound bar especially for its size I just couldn't get it to pair with my rear speakers had to order another one which I went with the ark and Amazon wouldn't take this one back cuz it was a manufacturer's defect little bit of problem with Amazon I wish they would have just taken it back and giving me credit for it so I had to wind up selling the sound bar myself but once again especially for its size amazing sound

Just purchased this soundbar and currently it is one of the best soundbar with dolby atmos on a budget. Most Dolby Atmos soundbar that is available on the market are quite expensive. But this soundbar is quite good for my need; at first I want the arc ultra but upon seeing the Arc ultra it became clear that it is an overkill especially in my studio apartment. This soundbar is compact in size and easy to setup. However there are few things that need to remember before purchasing this, this soundbar don't have an upfiring speaker (it has a side firing speaker) and uses software processing to create Dolby atmos sound; also the soundbar don't have bluetooth only airplay. For me having no bluetooth is fine since this is mostly being used for playing games and watching movies.

La experiencia de unboxing es muy buena, se nota el nivel premium que la marca quiere dar. Incluye cable de corriente, cable HDMI ARC y un adaptador por si tu TV no cuenta con esa entrada, todo perfectamente presentado. Como todo produto da Sonos é de excelente qualidade. Como todo produto da Sonos meio estressante de fazer funcionar, precisei de dicas de IA para descobrir o porquê de não conectar automaticamente na TV com o HDMI-Earc. Mas depois de conectar funciona perfeitamente inclusive com dolby-atmos. Há como controlar a soundbar pelo controle da TV e também da TV a cabo.
