Great fit, good quality cotton, really are non-binding.
I really like these socks and will buy them again. They fit my 10 1/2 shoe size feet comfortably about the feet and the ankle. After wearing them all day my legs show no marks from the socks binding, yet they stay up fine and I am a large guy. Yes, they are thin, but are not the mesh style. Instead they are a good quality cotton and look good. Have washed all 6 and see no problems whatsoever. You would probably not choose these in the middle of Montana in the winter of course. My one minor complaint is it would be nice if they were 1 to 2 inches longer at the top, but I can live with that OK.

Just what my sensitive feet needed
As a diabetic with severe peripheral neuropathy that was severely exacerbated by high doses of antibiotics, sock choice is really important. Some of the widely available socks for diabetics at national drug store chains are "OK" but they have awful, big seams over the toes. NOT good when your feet are super sensitive and prone to blistering and sores. I recently got a new pair of boots which I love but then had to find the right socks. These did the trick. They are nice and soft, have form but are not binding, and have a very minimal seam at the toe. Now my feet are happy in my boots!

Too Tight
I bought this brand of sock in the blue colors and was delighted that they fit and weren't too tight, so, since I have been looking for socks like this, I promptly ordered them in the same size in black. The new ones are too tight and leave marks on my legs when I wear them. I am very disappointed. I thought my sock troubles were finally over - but, sadly, they are not.

Tight, thin, cheap
Beware, these are not diabetic socks or socks for anyone with swelling issues. The one pair I wore was narrow and very binding plus difficult to get on. I would return them but i already wore one of the pairs. I will donate the rest and hope someone can use them...maybe a petite doll sized person with micro feet.

Color Makes a Difference
These are nicely made, soft socks that are odd in this respect: They all initially fit as expected, but after washing the blue socks shrunk considerably. They gray socks did not. Now the blue socks do not fit well and do not stay up. The gray socks did not lose their size and do not slip down when wearing them all day.

Recommended for persons who do not like tight socks...
Great socks - purchased for my husband. He does not have diabetes but tight socks make his leg swell. He likes them.

I like these a lot. I needed genuine no-constriction diabetes type socks
It took awhile for them to arrive from the UK, I hadn't noticed I was ordering outside the colonies, but that's OK, I'd re-order, just don't expect 2 day delivery, considering where it was coming from it came quick..I suppose there are differences between shoe/foot sizes, and I use a 12 wide shoe, these fit me fine, if I had a 13 sized foot (typical 13 size of over here in the colonies) then they wouldn't be big enough. They fit loose and had no apparent elastic (a good thing) and so my initial fear was they would slip down, but THEY DO NOT SLIP, so this is a win-win, and I would reorder and I can recommend them to you. On a totally unrelated subject since Col Packenham lost the Battle Of New Orleans, how'd he become a General?

Nice toe box, good quality, WAY too tight around the calf
We are keeping these socks because they are nice and thin without losing quality. They have a nice, roomy toe box and they don't creep under the heel when walking. The only issue is the top of the sock is very tight. They hurt and make an indentation in the leg almost immediately. Unless you have skinny calves, look elsewhere.

Didn't meet the needs of a casual sock shopper (no diabetes)
I should prefice my review by saying I likely am not the target market for these socks - i do not have diabetes, i merely just wanted plain white socks to wear. That said, they didn't work out for me. The material bunches up around the anterior ankle (i.e. in the front inner crease of the L shape your foot makes) and they were actually a bit loose. That made the socks uncomfortable to wear and so I haven't worn them since buying. I've given then to my father who wears them during workouts as he doesn't mind them.

Do not buy!
Those are socks that are NOT suppose to be tight at the ankles. Well, they are. So it defies the purpose to buy them and pay the extra money as they do not deliver that feature. Plus, they are cheaply made. One pair got a run the second time I wore them. The second pair got a whole and a run on the very first wear. Very disappointing. Money wasted.

The opening of the sock is far too tight
These are meant to assist diabetic and pre-diabetic persons however: perhaps in England persons have skinny legs, you know the stick legs that were so classically drawn by Malcolm Lowry in the last century. I have muscled rugger bugger legs, like piano legs so these socks are not useful at all if you have robust calves. the opening is far too tight and creates an indentation on the surface.

The socks are very comfortable.
I am quit pleased with this purchase and I expect I will be repeating this purchase again. The socks purchased and delivered were much nicer, more economical and more comfortable that what I could have purchased locally. The only thing I can't comment on is durability, will they last.FIVE OUT OF FIVE STARSrdh

I need to check before ordering
Unfortunately the socks were not the ankle socks that I got before so that's probably my mistake for not checking it as well as I should have before ordering. These are regular length socks and my feet are very wide as well as my ankles which is why I prefer the ankle non binding type of socks.Thank you
