**Q: Is this made in usa or china?**
A: Well I have no idea. I rarely look anymore as most things we use are made in China. However, I find that American made products generally advertise that they're American made so going by that logic I'd say it's most likely made in china. It is a very high quality strainer and very convenient. I'm happy with it

**Q: What is the depth of this colendar**
A: My husband thinks 4.5 to 5 inches. It holds an entire pound of cooked bowtie pasta with room for another pound easily. Hope that helps.

**Q: How small the holes are? Can it be used to rinse quinoa?**
A: The holes are pretty small.  I've rinsed quinoa, but can't see why it wouldn't work at all.  I love mine!

**Q: Does the black rubber on the edges leaves marks on white porcelain sinks?**
A: I wouldn’t think so but I have stainless.

I bought this to help me drain the 2 lb. batches of pasta I cook for a shelter out of my home. The adjustable handles and rectangular shape of the basket make it easy to use in my sink. I also use it to wash the starch off of rice & farro before cooking. There is a metal frame that attaches to the screen which the rice & farro occasionally get stuck behind but a simple tap while inverting it loosens and releases them during cleaning, not a big problem. I recommend this product and the seller, it arrived on time, well packaged and undamaged.
