I wanted something that would give my dry skin a bath so to speak. Reviews on this type of oil for dryness were all positive so this was an easy add to cart. It was received shortly after. Upon opening the box i was not disappointed with the look. Loved the dark bottle as this helps keep the light out. Lighy as light is what breaks down ingredients.It has a dropper which was very durable and easy to use. Using it, I checked out the consistency. It was runny with a medium thickness. I put it on my face and neck at night before going to bed. It gets all over my pillow as im a side sleeper. If you sleep on your back you will fair better than me. In the morning i noticed my face has a bit of colour. Almost like a mild tan with a touch of orange colour. This does moisturize but be aware. It is an oil. So unless you wash this off the next day, and you go out in the sun, it will be bad for your face.

I just received this so am anxious to try for hair. Looks like a nice oil. Delivery was quick!

After reading about the benefits of sea buckthorn oil on the skin, particularly the berry oil (as it is richer in omega-7 fatty acids that help repair tissue), I had to try this. I usually use rosehip oil, but I felt Iike treating my skin to something richer since Fall is approaching.The product isn’t cheap for the relatively small bottle, but a little goes a long way. It is incredibly effective and potent, I noticed improved texture in my skin in just two days of use - supple and smooth! What I wasn’t prepared for was how much this stains if you’re as pale as I am. I made the mistake of putting this on in the morning and I was tinted orange for hours. However, the next time I put it on before bed, and it seemed to have sunk into my skin overnight and I wasn’t left with excess pigmentation. I’d suggest using this only as a night oil, and I wouldn’t use a white pillowcase to sleep on. If you have a darker complexion you might be able to get away with this as put-on-and-go oil in the morning. Either way, I recommend it and I’m not deterred by the pigmentation issue; it’s a characteristic of the sea buckthorn berry and it’s a small price to pay for the incredible benefits we find in natural beauty products!
