Lovely book!
I just received this and read through the Spring Equinox section as it’s that time of year. It was a lovely read (about 30 pages for the section). History, insights, meditations, craft & altar ideas, etc. I think it’s going to be an awesome little resource moving through the wheel!

Fantastic!
Fantastic book for those who are just being introduced to the Wheel of the Year as well as veterans. Danu approaches the book with a strong Celtic focus, which is exactly what I was looking for and makes sense with her background. The illustrations are beautiful, and the style of writing is friendly and familiar. Definitely worth picking up.

Love this book. Very helpful
I love this book. I've used the Llwellyn book on the festivals in the past but I love this deep dive from a Celtic perspective. Very helpful as a Yank studying with the Order of Bards, Ovates, and Druids to find out about the festivals and stories from the perspective of an author in the British Isles, rather than an American.

I've become dependent upon this book and look forward to celebrating the ever turning wheel of the year.
I've not had the book for a full year. I've been using it since autumn equinox and before every holiday I pull it out and it's made all the difference in the world. One point I want to stress is that it's full of information. If you like to make things for the holidays, there are lots of options, if you want to contemplate with a visualization, you will not be disappointed. Crafts, kitchen witchery, themes, all in the book. If you have a curious mind, fear not, she will feed it. I've read different books on the natural holidays but this one has the information that actually connects you to the holidays in a way you can make them yours. I can't say enough, if you want to really connect to the seasons this book is a joy, easy to put to use and it helps me connect on many levels. It will feed the curious mind.

Who else but Druids
As we have become accustomed from Danu Forest's work, another excellent book, this time to regain the much needed awareness of the natural cycles of the year. Two millennia of misguided disconnect from the very basis we live on and from, our planet earth, brought upon us by revealed religions, can only be overcome by bridging our time with those of our ancient European forebears. Danu has once again constructed this important bridge to the Druids of old who, as Diodorus Siculus as one of many Druid contemporaries writing about them conveyed, knew the language of the Gods.Looking back at 2,000 years of mayhem amongst members of revealed religions (e.g. Catholics vs Protestants in the 100 year war), and the ongoing destruction of our planet, Danu's suggestions may just be our only beacon of light enabling us to leave the dark ages behind once and for all. Thank you.

Not as impressed with this as I thought I would be. I found it lacking somewhat, although the info was adequate.

A magical companion to read as the year turns
This book is clearly written with love and deep knowledge of the Pagan year. It provides stories, lore, recipes, rituals and information on the eight festivals and traditions common to modern Paganism: Winter Solstice, Imbolc, Spring Equinox, Beltane, Summer Solstice, Lughnasadh, Autumn Equinox and Samhain, with hand-drawn illustrations in each section. It's an inspiration to read each section as the year turns.

Wonderful book
I bought this as I already had the oracle deck Celtic Goddesses, Witches and Queens by Dan Forest (which is superb) I wasn't disappointed - packed full of ideas for the sacred days and written so well. Each word shows her deep understanding and connection that makes this book magical indeed.

Great
Best book I’ve found so far on the subject. Tells you the basics, offers you crafts, meditations, cooking, etc., so everyone can find something they can do whether they are solitary or practice with others, live in the city or at the middle of nowhere, and regardless of their skill levels. All in all I would recommend this book for anyone who wants to learn more about the wheel of the year.
