Q: How big are the magnets that come in this package? I need a mess of them for the frig...they also catch flys?

This is replacement, liquid bait for the Fly Magnet trap. This attractant lures them in, they can't escape and they drown inside of the hanging Fly Magnet reusable trap. It is not designed to be used on a refrigerator.

Q: How disgusting is it when you have to empty it? Is there a disposable version?

The trap attracts flies, carrion beetles, and any insects that seek decaying animal matter. Yes, there is a smell; but if you empty the contents quickly into a gallon plastic bag and immediately seal it - you can avoid the smell. Emptying and rinsing the trap is not for the faint of heart.

Q: What's the best way to clean the trap?

Use really hot water and let it soak for awhile. Also when in use don't shake but mix use product I find that helps to not stick on the sides. Hope this helps I love these traps unbelievable how many they catch ❗️

Q: It did not catch any flies in 3 days. Flies still flew into house. What could be wrong?

They need to be hung 3 to 6 feet off the ground in a sunny spot, by where the flies hang out. I personally went back to using the sticky tape kind because the attractant is this stuff only lasts about 2 days.
