This unit is in my bedroom upstairs. It detects when the air quality changes very well. When cooking downstairs, I noticed that it increased the fan to clean the air better. The light turned red while cooking, and increased the fan until the indicator light turned green.

I purchased this unit because I moved into an apartment building where the smell of cigarette smoke escaped and into the hallway from other tenants apartments. After carefully searching for an air purifier that would eliminate the cigarette odor from outside my apartment, I chose this unit based on reviews. Everything else about it is great--I simply expected it to get rid of that faint odor. I'm disappointed by this. I won't be purchasing a new filter for this one in three months. I intend to return it. I would be willing to work with the seller on a solution. If the outcome is favorable, then I will revise my review.

I liked how it came on when bacon cooking or someone smoking. I dislike filter last for 2 weeks or less. Then it just runs saying air is good when it's not. Even after clearing eye as recommended and wiping the interior with a soft slightly damp cloth. Was hoping to replace filter every month not every week.

Good value! It really pushes the air around and makes a difference in air quality. Very quite in sleep mode and all the lights will be off so they won’t bother you while you sleep. Besides sleep mode there are two other settings. Low and high. The high setting is kinda loud, like a fan, but really it’s moving the air like a fan so, I guess that’s a good thing.

Started my BLUEAIR ($250) with a new filter and this one with a new filer at the same time. In the same room 16 ft. from each other. Checked both of the filters 30 days later and they were both equally dirty!! So $40 vs $250!! Seriously. I did not think this one would works as well. But they worked 100% equal.

Assembled in less then a minute. Totally makes a difference. I'll be getting another for living room when I move

The media could not be loaded.  I can’t speak highly enough of this air filter it is the best. Not only does it actively check the air for pollutants and it tells you with the lighting system of where the areas if it’s bad it’s red it’s good it’s blue but the minute you Vape or put something in the air it will sense it and start to purify the air more it’s amazing not only is my house less dusty but it smells fresh are the best part it’s got filters that you can vacuum and replace no tell me it’s not true they don’t look you in with the expensive filters it’s too much I love this air filter.

I was really concerned that a $30 air purifier wasn't going to work very well, but these things are great. I bought 3 of them to have throughout the house. I was having significant issues from black mold and my issues have cleared up. I can spray air freshener or sprinkle comet in the room and the air purifier will indeed tell me the air quality is bad and will work to clear it.I'm really happy with these air purifiers and would heartily recommend them to anyone needing a cheap air purifier. I'll eventually buy a couple more of them for the remaining 2 rooms. I really couldn't be more pleased with these.
