Pure Original Ingredients, Citric Acid, 5 Lb.

Love this stuff for cleaning my washing machine bin. This is the first time I’ve bought this brand, but IMO most citric acid powders are the same? Either way, it works really well and cleans the gunk out! I was having issues with scrud coming off onto my clothes and it was really frustrating me. I tried cleaning out my washing bin with hot water cycles and vinegar, using washing machine cleaning tablets in the cleaning cycles (I still do) and that helps. BUT, the citric acid IMO, is a game changer. I also stopped using cold water washing cycles and use warm to hot on my laundry and have severely decreased the amount of soap and detergents. I make sure to do more cleaning cycles between loads and that has helped get rid of the scrud. The value of the CA is really good, it lasts me a bit, the consistency is what you’d expect. Dump it in and close your lid though, bc if that stuff gets up your nose it will make you sneeze! lol!!

I like this brand and have been happy with other PURE products and this citric acid is also high quality and a good value for 2 lb. Citric acid is helpful in laundry, cleaning hard water black manganese deposits in toilet tank and so many other uses!

Worked well for removing yellow avobenzone stains (sunscreen) from clothing.

This was great exactly what I needed and the quality of this product was top notch.

The item was leaking - the plastic bag holding the brown paper bag of citric acid has a lot of spillage in it, which was annoying. I knocked off a star, wanted to knock off more due to the annoyance factor but didn’t as it wasn’t the manufacturer’s fault, although maybe more rugged packaging would be better.

Purchased to clean and de-scale my clothes washing machine. It did the job well. Would buy again.

save money useing this to clean toilets and tanks no need to keep buying expensive cleaners that do not work as well
