Articulate, simple, honest
This is a great, simple, practical, and conceptual way to ease into answering the questions you have been avoiding asking. It helped me to concretely decide about the next six months onwards during a time when I want sure I even wanted to know what that time could hold.A time for self reflection. Take half a day. Read it through. Bookmark. Do the tasks. Make a plan. It'll be the best half day you've spent.

Wise words, told as a story, easy to apply
This book is terrific. Filled with common sense, made irresistible. Erica is a talented story teller and a master at simplifying information making it easy and exciting to apply. A really easy and engaging read.

Youthful and Affirmative
This is a nice enough self-help book, presented in a lively, youthfully affirmative way. It's all about defining goals and developing positivity [aren't they all] but this has the added angle of appealing I think primarily to the young twenty-something woman and there's no harm in that.Having said that there's plenty of good advice for both sexes as it charts how to develop a 'vision' and devise tools to achieve it. Again, nothing new here but it is very well presented in an energetic, friendly way that does border on whimsy sometimes but hey, what's wrong with a bit of whimsy in an already overloaded genre. Worth a look.

Too simplistic and nothing new
I don't know what exactly I was expecting from this book. I suppose maybe I was hoping to find something new and something different. I didn't.This, however, doesn't mean that the book is necessarily a bad one for every reader. It's not badly written. It seems quite well structured too but I just thought that most of it was an oversimplified way of telling people to have a vision, commit to it and have a plan.Along the way, it will encourage you to understand what motivates you, what your unique features are, what you have to offer the world and then give you guidance on how to build things like a project plan and explain the value of having a positive attitude. There is nothing wrong with the content as such. I just thought that it's probably more interesting to those who are reading the book of this kind for the first time.Personally, I just felt that it was like hundreds of other books written on this topic. There was nothing new and nothing innovative except using different terminology such thinking of a plan in terms of the calling, the quest and the return home.Lack of anything new and writing the whole book on a subject that could have been explored in a magazine article is my reason for giving it a 2-star rating.

Great tool for living well
I really enjoyed this book. I found it well written, engaging and it made me see clearly why some of my quests in life succeed and others don't. I loved the concept of creating adventures and going on a journey each time you commit to doing something, however big or small. The obstacles that one might encounter were well explained, along with some good tips on how to deal with them. Compared to other books I have read about taking control of your life this one really made me feel that I could apply the ideas to the challenges I face. I read the book straight through without doing many of the suggested exercises and still got a lot from it. Now I keep it close by to refer to when I need a bit of a boost.
