After looking for weeks in stores, not finding anything, I decided to look online as I also had an Amazon gift card. I fell in love with this lamp but ultimately bought it because of the great reviews. The lamp us super easy to assemble (idiot proof) and the shade is beautiful (and larger than I was expecting, which is not a bad thing as it is for our living room. The marbleized bronze / brown base is gorgeous and the double pull cord feature is awesome, as we like to have the option of having one bulb lit for ambiance, or two for reading. I can't say enough good things about this lamp. I have been disappointed often with online purchases where the product received is not at all what was depicted or described. This is probably one of the BEST online purchases I've ever made -- Kathy Ireland, I'm a fan!

Heavy enough that it's stable. Quality materials. Have had it for over 6 months, no complaints.

The lamp was great, lot's of light, just what we wanted. It arrived 2-3 days after I ordered it with regular ground shipping. It even came with two bulbs. It took a quick 5 minutes to put together, BUT we had styrofoam beads everywhere! This packing stuff was so loosely compressed that it took quite a while to cleanup. Even breaking it up to put it into the trash can became a messy task. I suggest opening the box outside of the house while wearing an old long sleeve shirt.

Looking nice in my not big living room ,I got them (2),as I don't have ceiling lights,I think it's really good that the lamp has two bulbs with two chains ,so you could vary "amount "of light ,it's easy to use ,I got compliments for my lamps !

The lamp adds light to a dark side of the room with style. The con side is that when sitting beside it the light is too direct. But I really like the atmosphere it gives to the room and I am happy with my purchase. I would recommend it .

This is a great looking lamp and easy to put together but be aware that the finial and "pipe" are packed underneath the maiin large piece of styrofoam. For awhile we thought they were missing!Am using in our family room behind our new sectional. I wanted the tallest floor lamp I could find as did not feel the arc type lighting was needed or fit our style. This is pretty perfect! The shade is great and light will be just right for reading, I can turn it off or on from the recliner I sit at. love the different lighting options---either one or two lights. All in all a great purchase!
