Essential tool — accurate, reliable, and a must-have for consistent color 🎯
I’m really impressed with this ColorChecker Passport Photo 2! It’s compact and travel-friendly, yet packs in everything I need — gray-balance, white-balance, classic 24-patch color reference, and creative enhancement targets. Using it with the included software and Lightroom plugin made setting custom camera profiles easy, and the color and white balance accuracy across different lighting conditions is noticeably improved. Whether I shoot portraits, landscapes, or mixed lighting scenes, I now get consistent and true-to-life colors, which makes editing much easier. Highly recommend this for any photographer who cares about getting professional-quality color and consistency from shoot to edit.

Color correction is accurate
Found it very useful for photographing an old book and then color correcting using a software.

Mandatory camera EQ for all shooters
Mandatory tool for any photographer that takes themselves seriously. Even if you always tone your images creatively, starting from an objective baseline always improves your results. The large Grey and White swatches are super useful for quick calibration, and sufficient for 99% of applications. If your doing commercial work, the swatch chart is an absolute necessity for accurate color.

Fantastically accurate, pretty easy to use
After using it per all instructions, I found it accurate. It is a little 'clicky' to open and close, but that even have a purpose. I did find that a not easy to find 'properly calibrated with documentation showing it was calibrated' Grey card works just as well because it gave exactly the same cor calibration of my camera with lens as this one. The difference is that this one is enclosed, thus shielded from grime and fading, and should last way longer.

Cheaply made and poorly designed.
If I could have, I would have just purchased the old ColorChecker Mini. I really just needed the color calibration card, and I needed it to be small enough to fit in a light box for a macrophotography project. Unfortunately, the Mini was sold out everywhere except for a few eBay listings. Maybe they discontinued it? In any case, this was the only alternative that I could find with the ColorChecker name. My main complaint is with the case. Opening it requires a lot of force causing the entire case to bend. It is just plastic on plastic for the hinges (and cheaply put together hinges at that). Every time I opened it, I felt like I was going to snap it in half. I get that when you buy a product like this, you are really buying the brand name. But for over $100, they could have at least made an effort to make you feel like you weren't getting taken advantage of. But that isn't even the worst part. While the footprint of each individual card is small, there is no way to open the case and fold it back on itself. If you have a tight space for your stage, the only way to have the target lying flat on the table is to have the case wide open which doubles the footprint. If you are doing macrophotography and have a small stage, or an enclosed light box, it may not fit the entire wide-open case - or at least you won't be able to center the target under the camera. For me, this totally defeated the purpose of buying a smaller form factor target. Unfortunately, by the time I realized that this wouldn't work for my project, the return window had expired. I ended up just breaking the hinges so that I could remove the cover and allow the color target to lie flat in my light box. Again, not exactly what I expected for over $100.

Easy to use and accurate
This one is a replacement for the one I'd been using for several years. They do fade with time and should be replaced every two or three years. The manufacturer says annually but I can't see any difference after one year. They work great and are easy to use, just read and follow the directions.

Fajne ale....
Zawiasy ciężko chodzą. Przy otwieraniu i składaniu muszę używać dużo siły.... przez to mam wrażenie, że obudowa zaraz pęknie i się zepsuje.

Picture perfect prints.
I secured a job photographing some art work, this was a great purchase to ensure colour accuracy. Very portable great quality and functions very well. Just follow the simple instructions. I was able to reproduce prints of the art work (with the right printer) much more accurately than the professional print places they tried.

Amazing Value - Hear Me Out...
There are a lot of reviews (here and YouTube) saying it's expensive for a piece of plastic. Yes, if all you were buying was a piece of plastic, it would be overpriced. But, you aren't. You're buying the plastic as well as the integrated software and support that comes with it. Really, this is a great value and it has saved me countless amount of hours when editing. I shoot a lot of food and products so making sure that colors are exactly how they are in real life is important. Using just a standard white balance card is not enough. I had purchased an $8 white balance card set. Between that $8 and this $100 (roughly) passport, my regret is wasting the $8 in the past. If you shoot photos of food, products, or anything where correct colors are important, this is a must. Cheaping out and getting anything less won't give you the easy-to-use plugins for Lr and you'll still have to spend hours making sure everything is correct. Don't waste your money elsewhere, just get this and be happy you did.
