UGREEN USB C Plug 100W Fast Charger GaN 4-Port Laptop Charger

I’ve been really impressed with this UGREEN charger. It’s surprisingly compact and lightweight for a 100W charger, especially considering it has four ports and can charge multiple devices at once. I regularly use it to charge my MacBook and iPad, and the charging speeds have been consistently fast. The design is also really nice and feels well built. It doesn’t get particularly hot compared with other chargers I’ve used, even when charging multiple devices. It’s been reliable so far and is a great option if you want one compact charger for several devices.

After having such a good experience with other UGREEN chargers, I bought this 100W Nexode charger to give myself a bit more flexibility when travelling with my camera equipment. It's become my go-to charger whenever I'm away on location. The biggest advantage is that I can charge multiple devices from a single compact charger. Whether it's my SmallRig USB-C rechargeable NP-FZ100 batteries, MacBook Pro, iPad Air, iPhone or Apple Watch, I no longer need to pack several different power adapters. It keeps my camera bag lighter and makes hotel room charging much easier when plug sockets are limited. Despite its compact size, it delivers plenty of power. I regularly use it to charge my MacBook Pro as well as the rest of my Apple devices, and it's never struggled to keep up. Being able to charge my laptop alongside my camera batteries from a single charger has been particularly useful when travelling. The build quality is excellent. It feels solid, the ports grip cables securely and it's remained cool and reliable throughout the time I've owned it. Like the rest of my UGREEN equipment, it gives the impression of being built to last. I've become quite a fan of the brand over the last few years. I even had the chance to visit the UGREEN store in the New Asia International Electronic & Digital City in Guangzhou, which was an impressive experience and really highlighted the scale of the company. This charger has reinforced that positive impression. If you've got a lot of USB-C powered equipment, whether it's camera gear, Apple devices or a laptop, this is an excellent investment. It's powerful, compact and has simplified charging virtually everything I travel with.

I wasn't sure if a 100W charger was strong enough to fast charge a MacBook Air M5 and other things aswell (iPad, phone, earbuds etc) but it is. I was contemplating a much more expensive 160W charger, but honestly this thing is more than good enough, and at only £30 at the time of purchase its a bargain... especially considering the price of Apple's own (larger) single port chargers. It's actually quite heavy, which is both surprising and reassuring, but on a UK plug it's not so heavy that it falls out of the socket... it fits solidly, and the rounded shape feels really nice in the hand... its oddly very satisfying to hold and feels very well built. I also prefer this design where the USB ports are on the back rather than the sides, because the cables and plug can be more easily placed in tight spaces. Does it get hot? Only when charging the MacBook and 3 other devices at the same time, but even then the MacBook only draws maximum power over the first 50% of its charge, so it doesn't stay hot for long. In my regular use it just gets slightly warm. A 30W charger is all you need on the MacBook Air M5 to both power the machine and charge its battery at the same time. But 65W is handy to fast charge it to 50% when you're in a hurry. The first 2 USB C ports can provide 100W providing only one device is connected. If 2 are connected it provides 45W and 30W respectively....both enough to power and charge the MacBook Air. So its more than enough for what I need. The 3rd USB C port and and USB A port can provide up to 22W between them, still enough to charge an iPad, a phone, or a couple of smaller devices like wireless headphones and a smartwatch at the same time. For the compact size, performance and current price (£30) this is the best USB charger I've ever bought. At the time I bought mine there was also a free gift of a 2m 100W USB C cable worth nearly £10, making it even more of a bargain. Sure, you could buy a 160W Anker or UGreen charger with fancy displays and bluetooth features, but you'll pay 3 times the price and end up lugging about a less compact unit that you might not actually need. If I had one negative thing to say about this charger it's that the plug pins aren't collapsible, but I'm ok sacrificing a little portability for a robust build and great price.

WHY I BOUGHT IT: I picked this up to replace my genuine Apple power adapter, mainly for travel - something reliable and powerfull enough to keep multiple devices charged on the go without a bag full of chargers. THE GOOD: This covers my entire Apple setup - MacBook , iPhone, iPad, Apple Watch and AirPods - up to four at a time, beating the standard Apple charger hands down. It's not just for Apple gear either - it handles Android phones and other USB-C/USB-A devices just as well. IN REAL USE: It's a 100W GaN charger, charging my MacBook noticeably faster than a standard laptop charger. At around 290g it's got some heft, and the prongs are fixed rather than foldable. Four ports total - three USB-C, one USB-A - and I've run all four at once with no slowdown or extra heat. THE NOT SO GOOD: There is one small catch: it's bulkier at the wall than the Apple charger it replaced, so it sticks out further from the socket. Not a deal-breaker, but worth knowing if your sockets are tight. QUALITY: Feels genuinely premium - solid and well put together. WORTH THE MONEY? Yes, though I'd wait for an Amazon sale rather than pay full price. WOULD I BUY IT AGAIN? Yes - a solid pick for ditching an Apple adapter for one charger that does it all.

I cannot stress how fast this makes all of my devices charge. It’s genuinely a game changer and one of the best investments. I have used it for a while now and can say that it’s amazing, as you can charge up to 4 different devices as there are 4 ports, all charging rapidly (100W). One thing I would bear in mind when buying is how heavy the brick is. When travelling it does hold a bit of weight so it might not be as comfortable to travel with however it is pretty small and compact which makes it easy to stuff in a pocket.

This is a great little USB-C charger. It's the charger we leave in our suitcase for going with us on our travels. It can happily charge our phones, laptop, Rog Ally X, iPads, etc (not all at the same time, obviously). It's powerful enough to run my laptop or Rog Ally at full power if they're the only things plugged in, so I can use them as if I was using the manufacturer's power supply. You need to remember that high-powered devices such as laptops & games consoles need to go in sockets C1 or C2, C3 is for lower powered devices such as phones or rechargeable torches etc. The charger is small so doesn't take up much space in our luggage, we just need to take a couple of decent USB-C charging cables with us. It does stick out of the wall a fair way, so can't be used behind furniture, but in hotel rooms or AirBnBs that's not been a problem It's not the cheapest charger in the world, but for the power and convenience, it's well worth it. It does have a USB-A socket as well, so it's compatible with older items, but we tend to make sure anything new we buy has USB-C nowadays.

I am writing this review after using the charger for exactly three months. The main reason I purchased this 100W charger was to charge all my devices from one charger using its four ports. Initially, it worked well. However, I recently noticed that when cables are connected to all four ports, the USB-A port stops delivering power after only 2–3 minutes. According to UGREEN’s charging guide, when all four ports are in use, the USB-A port should still provide up to 10.5W. In my case, its output drops to zero, and the connected device completely stops charging. The problem is even worse than that. Even when only empty cables are connected to the three USB-C ports—with no devices charging—and I connect just one device to the USB-A port, it still stops charging after 2–3 minutes. This charger no longer serves the purpose for which I bought it. A four-port charger should reliably provide power through all four ports as advertised. I would recommend thinking carefully before purchasing it, particularly if you need to use the USB-A port alongside the USB-C ports.

I’ve gone through my fair share of USB-C chargers over the years, but this UGREEN Nexode 100W has officially earned a permanent spot in my tech bag. I’ve got no patience for clutter or slow charging — and this little block seriously delivers. It powers my MacBook Pro, charges my iPhone 16 Pro Max and my wife’s iPhone 16 Pro Max at the same time, without overheating or slowing down. I even used it for my Steam Deck on a weekend trip — no hiccups at all. The GaN tech keeps it cool and compact. It’s surprisingly small for something that pushes 100W across four ports. I love that I can leave multiple bricks at home now — this one handles everything: laptop, phone, tablet, and power bank. Only note: if you're using all four ports at once, it splits the power, so you won't get the full 100W on a single device — but that’s expected and clearly explained in the listing. Highly recommend this if you’re tired of juggling cables and chargers. UGREEN knocked it out of the park with this one.

One of the best fast charger on the market. Got it with on sale. Value for money. So far its working fine.

Have and love the previous 65w version, but they've swapped the folding prongs for ones that are permanently out making it much less compact and comfortable to carry. Swapping the metallic earth pin for plastic made it feel a little cheaper too. If they could keep the features of the 65w with just the additional USB C port and higher power output it would be a great unit.
