Very Well Made, Best with 12V Drill
I was pleasantly surprised with the build quality, with basic care it should last. Tried with an 18V drill initially, but the larger frame of the drill motor caused an elevation difference that affected the hex attachment level, which would have caused excessive wear. The unit is easy enough to mount and level, but would be best left in a spare motor. Also, the complete unit weighs around five pounds, not bad, unless you're filling a newly rebuilt spindle that could take a 1/4 to 1/2 tube of grease. It works well with a variable speed drill, which makes it even more versatile than the purpose built guns that cost $200 - $250 or more, except you don't have the high pressure cut out, so you can't just walk away when filling a hub.If you get the grease gun coupler the box it comes in is perfect for all the accessories if you take out the top foam insert. The needle attachment even fits.Overall I'm pleased with this purchase and definitely recommend for the backyard mechanic.I have four different multi-axle trailers, two 4x4's, three motorcycles, and a box truck that I keep lubed, and this not only helps it go faster, it eliminated that forearm burn when replacing bearings and greasing for the first time with a standard pistol grip holder. My only regret is I waited so long before finally pulling the trigger...

It works
This works quite well and I like it. Only thing for me being used to a regular dewalt grease gun is it feels a little top heavy. I would buy another though if I needed a 4th grease gun. It’s nice not to have an another tool for just one thing. Bolted it on my both of my drills with no issues

Not bad for the money!
I was hesitant at first on purchasing this as it’s priced a lot cheaper than other grease guns that run on an impact driver. I’m pleased to say it does a pretty decent job. I greased the tractor carts new solid tires and wheels. It works pretty well! But I would say this is more for light duty use. I wouldn’t probably depend on this if I was a business owner and was thinking of purchasing. Only time will tell. Pro tip: use a little patience getting the grease gun primed. I was set to leave a bad review until it primed and compacted the grease out the nozzle. That’s another nice thing! Multiple tips for dispersing the grease!

Loses prime and leaks
I was hoping this would work better than it does. Mine lost prime constantly, I never knew if it was working or not. When I went to change the tube there was grease everywhere, giant mess. I couldn’t get the plunger back in after spending two hours cleaning, so it went in the trash.Good luck, you’ve been warned.

An okay grease gun in a pinch
I've had this grease gun for a while now and while it works pretty good with the DeWalt drill. But it does not hold pressure.

I’ll keep you updated
I operate heavy equipment, so I was skeptical about buying this grease gun. I saw so many bad reviews and I’m sure the reviewers don’t use this grease gun like I do. So far, I’ve greased a 20 ton excavator, a 22 ton excavator, a backhoe and a skid loader. A few grease fittings took grease so hard, it actually stopped the drill. It’s easy to prime and I love the locking grease gun end. So far there are no cons to this purchase. It’s a quarter of the price of an electric grease gun. Anyway, I’ll update my review if it fails. Until then, this thing is great.Update: 06/15/23 I used the grease gun to grease a fitting that wouldn’t take grease. I didn’t know that. But it blew the hose out of the end of the grease gun where it screws into the gun. It took some threads with it. I screwed the hose back into the grease gun and found some more threads deeper and it’s working again. I’m still leaving a 5 star review because I probably should have set the drill to a lower setting and that’s what I’ll do from now on. It’s probably going to blow apart again because the threads are already compromised.
