I've bought several seed packs from the Home Grown brand, and they've all been pretty successful. This kit was offered as a gift with purchase bundle. I would probably not have ordered for myself otherwise as I already have pots and accessories at home. That being said, it would make a fantastic gift for someone just starting gardening or with limited space like an apartment or dorm. I was impressed at the overall quality and think its a good value. You get everything as pictured including seeds, pots with saucers, mini gardening tools and some very cute expanding dirt disks. I have had kits with these "just add water" dirt disks before but those included in this kit had to be the most fun part. The tiny 1" disks amazingly filled the entire pot to the brim. I think this part would really thrill smaller kids trying the kit. It was pretty fun watching them "grow." I just planted my seeds today so I can't speak to germination but overall, this kit would make a really nice gift.

I got this for our family gift exchange this year and it seemed to be a liked item. There is good instructions in the box and it seems organized.

So far, everything is sprouting except the basil. It was easy to put together and the tools are adorable. Just don't make the mistake I made. I put one of the soil pods in a bowl of water to rehydrate it. Put them in the pots then add water.

Great indoor herb garden kit. It literally has everything you need to grow your own vegetables, except for the water. Kit is of good quality too. Highly recommended.

This was just too adorable. And great for someone just starting out. Simple instructions, comes with 4 different herbs to start with. I got this for my sister who absolutely love it. Great for those looking to start growing but wanting to go at an easy pace. Would definitely recommend

The kit is nice, but definitely worth looking around and considering other options, which is what I’m doing now. Patience wasn’t the issue on my end which makes things more disappointing. At least I have more supplies to work with though on the good side of things so it wasn’t a complete waste.
