Hogue 86020 Ruger Redhawk Round Butt Rubber Grip

First grip I bought was for square butt my mistake so I returned and bought this for a round butt revolver. Correct fit. Goes on tightly and greatly improves the grip. Factory redwood grips look great but don't allow the same control as this for mitigating recoil. I have similar hogue on 357 and 44mag and it greatly improves the grip. Good product and these will last for years Good price as well. Customer service was great

My .41 Redhawk came with a similar grip and was very comfortable, the new .45 one had the rosewood grips and not so comfortable. This is a great one piece grip, was easy to install an much more comfortable than the original wood ones.

The wood grips that come stock on the Redhawk are very classy in their appearance, but pretty impractical for the shape of the pistol, recoil control and larger hands. I never felt like I had total control over my .357, and my hand would quickly tire due to the impressive weight of the cylinder + 8 live rounds. This grip solves those issues. It's comfortable, beefy for larger hands and allows for a much more natural grip on the firearm. I installed it in less than 5 minutes and that included cleaning the handle once I removed the wood grips. Never been disappointed with a Hogue product and this one is no exception.

Does great for its purpose but beware, it is a huge grip. Almost forces you to shoot 2 handed every time until your use to it because it opens your hand up so much it tends to hit the thumb tendon and webbing pretty hard if shot 1 handed. Shooting 2 handed cuts recoil dramatically because it spreads the recoil over a larger area and the rubber has just enough squish to flex but not cause you to lose grip. I have pretty large hands so small hands might struggle.
