Impressed.
I received these and immediately thought they’d be trashed within a day and, While I’m sure there are better tools out there, This thing preformed beyond my expectations. If you need a tool to debark, plane, hog-out this is probably for you. Make sure you have a compatible saw, as the clutch wheel pulley will not fit larger saws. We ran these for a job for 5 days straight and they are still going strong.

Works great on 170 Stihl
So just got this thing. We have a 170 Stihl and it fits great. We ran it just briefly to try it out and we think it’s going to work perfectly for our project. Certainly faster and easier that the hand peeler we were using.

Don't fit.
Purchased for my saw milling activities. Thought it would be nice for getting bark off first. Intentionally purchased a new chainsaw that the product said would fit. No way! If I use it it will burn the bearings up in no time. At least 1/16 inch gap around the bearings. Tried the huskavarna pully. Fits the shaft nicely, but the clutch is larger than huskavarna's. So won't fit over the clutch. Too late to send back. Guess I am stuck with it.

Very Awesome
I'm not easily impressed by a tool, but this HOTYELL Log Peeler is an absolute must have for removing bark. If you don't have the correct saw, it's well worth getting it for this tool. These 15" X 12' Pine logs were striped in just over an hour of work and the blades are ready for more.

Great product
Arrived quickly. Easy to mount on a Poulan 4218A and does a great job. Peels better than expected.

Works as advertised. Be sure and use included washers (i used all). Takes thick bark off quick. Excellent for millers.

Great little peeler.
Works good. Peels cedar very well. Only bad thing is there's no good way to tension the belt, but otherwise very happy with the product.

Easy install. Well built
Well built product for the price. But the pulley gets in the way for debarking large diameter logs. Smaller diameter it works well.

doesn't fit as advertised
it did not fit my saw as it advertised for a stihl ms -170,not happy now that the return time is up,I just went to install it today and found it didn't fit so I wasted 159.00$

garbage. destroyed brand new chain saw after peeling 15 square feet of cedar logs. less then 15minutes. overheated on no load, burnt and scored out piston head. $550 lost.
