Review: Perfect for the DIY-er - I bought this network tool because I am running a load of cat6 cable throughout the house prior to putting down new flooring and needed to be sure each outlet and patch panel connection were 100% reliable before the floor was laid. Better safe than sorry since the floor cannot be lifted if there is a problem. The tool is very easy to use and shows very clearly the individual wires being tested on each cable. I have not tried the other functions yet but the instructions are simple to read and operation straight forward. Unfortunately the testers have failed after nine months of light intermittent use but a quick note to the vendors and a replacement unit is on its way. I cannot fault that for customer service - absolutely top notch. I will update this review once the new unit is received and I will try and test out some of the other functions.
