A rangefinder is an awesome tool for beginners to get exact distances for their clubs. This thing is great! It's easy to use and fairly straight forward coming out of the box. I find its measurements to be pretty precise from as far as a I have seen and I've dropped it a couple of times as well as had it bouncing around freely i my golf bag for a week and it's held up nicely. The slope feature comes in handy on the super hilly courses near me too. My favorite feature is the pin lock vibration, which I was unsure about for such a low price, but it's working out pretty well. The only downside I would say is that there is no magnet on it, but they added a carabiner clip in the pack so that's a fine substitution.
