Ease of access to boat
This step is very sturdy and it gets me in and out of the boat safely. I would have gave it 5 stars but the screws are almost 3 inches longer than needed. You can either tighten for a half hour or cut them.

Worked great on trailer.
Fit perfect on boat trailer. Makes transferring from the front much easier

Not as advertised!
Not as described/pictured. No non-slip surface....just bare painted metal. I had to purchase and add my own grip tape.

For under $40 - this thing is very strong and made with thick steal. I was surprised and certainly not complaining. I gave it a “4” for the overall strength of it. I’d give it a “3” for the hardware. One of my nuts were stripped (I couldn’t get it to ‘start’) - Also - when I tightened everything down - one of the bolts stripped. I ended up modifying it later to sit lower-closer to the frame (new holes) and cut it short so it didn’t hang down so low. I ended up buying new bolts/nuts/washers. For only $40 - it was easier to modify it to my application.
