Liberty Hardware 941805 Soft-Close Ball Bearing Drawer Slide, 18-Inch, Zinc Plated, Set of 2

I bought this to replace the cheap sliders that came with my daughter's Ikea brand dresser. After a while, the original sliders in the Ikea dresser began to bend from the weight of my daughter pulling-down force on the drawer when it was fully opened. This resulted in the drawer no longer sliding in and out in a smooth motion. No matter how much I tried to mold the plastic sliders back to its original form with my hands, the drawer still wouldn't slide smoothly. Furthermore, I didn't like that the original plastic sliders were not soft-closing. Whenever my 6 year old daughter closed her dresser drawers, everyone in the house knew about it. Such a loud noise!Now with the Liberty soft-close ball bearing drawer slider, the drawers close smoothly and closes softly. So nice! However, please be aware that installing this is not simple. There are lots of YouTube videos on how to install this. However, these videos assume one thing: That your dresser is perfectly measured-out and symmetric. By this I mean that the left and right side of the drawer have the same exact measurements and that corners are perfectly 90 degrees. As I was installing the first set of Liberty sliders in I was very disappointed to see that the sliders were not lining-up exactly. I'm not sure if it the dresser was put together imperfectly at the Ikea factory (probably) or the wooden parts in the dresser shifted or warped ever so slightly over the 5 years we had this dresser that made it not symmetric. So, I had to uninstall the sliders and painstakingly measure everything out individually (left side and then right side), all the while contorting my body so that I can get my eyes on the far-back part of the dresser to measure things out. I found out that the right side was 1/16th of an inch different from the left side. That's enough of a difference to throw off the positioning of the sliders and therefore cause the drawer to not open-close properly. Having said this, let me emphasize that this is NOT a problem with the Liberty drawer slider. This is a problem with the dresser! I just want consumers to be aware of this before they install this new slider.

Muy buen producto y buenos materiales a precio justo. Muy fácil de instalar y un instructivo fácil de entender. Los rieles anteriores duraron poco más de dos años, espero que estos duren más. XD

Made a vanity and decided to try them, seems to be made good, I like the mounting of it better than others cause it actually mounted in the center of the face frame at 3/8 inch , center, instead of others that mount deeper in, see how long and well they perform

Yo dudaba mucho de la calidad por el precio al momento de pedirlas, están muy baratas. Pero al recibirlas me llevé una grata sorpresa, las instalé y funcionan muy bien, el cajón cierra al final con suavidad y son muy robustas. Las recomiendo al 100%

Muy fáciles de instalar. Una vez instaladas, los cajones deslizan muy suave aún estando llenos.
