I don't care as I use daily and really like it....no worries in my book. **Q: Is this product antibacterial too?** A: It does not say anything about being antibacterial. It is mainly for moisturizing the face. **Q: Do I still have to use a regular moisterizer at night while using this?** A: I believe you should be ok just with Cetaphil. Excellent product and I don't see a reason to use another one. I can not say don't use it 100% because I don't know how your skin is. Each person's skin is different and has different needs. But let me tell you, the first time I used this product, it felt like the heavens opened up, the angels started singing and a light beamed down on me. 🤣 I tested it to see if my face would stay moisturized for 48 hours, and it didn't disappoint. I cleansed my face with a gentle cleanser followed by a hydrating toner. Then I applied this serum. My face didn't feel greasy. A little goes a long way. My face felt so soft and hydrated. And most of all, the redness and dullness had greatly diminished. It has a creamy texture and is fragrance free which I like because I have sensitive skin. But I have to get back to the hydration. My skin feels so plump and smooth and bouncy and shiny. I've been using it for about 6 months and it's definitely a holy grail in my skin care routine. BTW, I'm a 55 year old African American who's currently going through menopause (if that's helpful to anyone). Trust me, if you try this product, you won't be disappointed.
