I like this detergent very much, but when the cycle is done (before drying) there is foam left on the bottom of the washer. Used 4 drops of this. Why?

It was TOO concentrated for my Bosch. After using a few times and noticing the remaining foam the dishwasher leaked all over my hardwood floors. Had to place a service call and learned for $167 that I couldn't use in my Bosch. Had to run 5 cycles of vinegar through to get the remaining soap out of the machine. Try that!

How does this do with hard water? I'm looking for something to replace Cascade Platinum.

We live in west Texas where the water is hard even with a whole house softener. I use this dw soap and don't even add the spot free rinse when it runs out bc my dishes are so clean I don't even notice it's out! We do pre wash our dishes before loading the dw but honestly nothing can beat this cleaner!

I have a GE profile dishwasher, and there are slots: one for CASCADE and one for JETDRY. Do I load the dish gel in the JETDRY compartment?

I do not have a GE dishwasher, but the compartment for the "Cascade" is for the cleanser - liquid, powder or packet - it doesn't matter. Squirt the dish gel in there. The "jet dry" compartment is for the spot free rinsing agent - it is not the cleansing agent.
