I’ve been buying both the shampoo and conditioner for over a year now. It really does seem to volumize my hair, while leaving it super soft.. not coated like other thickening, shampoos and conditioners. I admittedly have grown to find the rose scent pleasant. I agree with other reviews, that it is especially hard to get the conditioner out of the bottle. Even if you leave, the bottle turned upside down between uses, it’s still stuck. By the time the conditioner is halfway gone, you have to completely take the lid off and coax it out with your finger or a Q-tip to use up all the product. Weird design… I still buy it though.

I've been using HERS products for a long time now. I think it might be time to try something else. I haven't noticed any change. I've actually been losing more hair.I gave it 3 stars because their other products are okay.

I don’t think this is a permanent solution for thin hair, but it definitely makes your hair look thicker. Follow the directions and leave it on a bit before rinsing. I love the fragrance, which is a muted rose scent — it may be too much for some. Cleans the hair well and definitely makes it look and feel fuller.

I never leave negative reviews ever, but I wanted to leave this as a forewarning to anyone else who might be in my situation.TL;DR version: This shampoo/conditioner set made me lose hair by the handful each wash, and would leave my hair looking dirty/oily hours after I showered, to the point where I had to use dry shampoo to cover the oiliness, even though my hair was freshly washed. When I switched back to my old shampoo, there was an immediate difference--I lost way less hair in the shower and my hair actually looked clean again, so something is definitely wrong with this product, at least on my hair. Please use caution and pay attention to how much hair you're losing each wash if you decide to use this product.---I just recently started losing my hair due to AGA and wanted to try this shampoo and conditioner in addition to the other forms of medication I'm taking to treat it, due to the promises made on the bottle. I have never used a sulfate-free shampoo before, but heard that is gentler than shampoo with sulfates, so it should have been gentler on my hair.I followed the directions exactly as listed on the bottle--massaged the product gently into my scalp, brought it from root to tip, and left it on for at least one minute. I did the same for the conditioner. I noticed immediately after I started using it that I was losing WAY more hair than usual in the shower--literal handfuls of my hair would come out as I rinsed out the product. I would put the falling hair on my shower wall to visualize how much I was losing and it was really alarming.At first I thought maybe this was a symptom of my hair loss rather than caused by the shampoo, so I didn't think much of it. However, I also noticed that when I used this shampoo and conditioner, my hair always looked very stringy and oily after it dried--as if I didn't wash it at all? I would literally have to put dry shampoo in my hair as soon as my hair dried after I washed it because of how oily and stringy my hair would look. This has never happened to me with any other shampoo.I decided to switch back to my old shampoo and conditioner (that DOES contain sulfates) and it was like night and day. I lost maybe 10 hairs max after washing and conditioning (compared to the handfuls using hers) and my hair actually looks clean and not greasy after it's dried again. I can only determine that these new specific issues, which didn't occur with any other shampoo I've ever used, were caused by this product, so I will be throwing away the second set of bottles I have and trying something else.Moral of the story: Pay attention to your own body/hair and if it's not working for you, move on. I know this product has a lot of positive reviews and I'm happy it worked for those people, but it obviously won't work for everyone.
