Assembled this fan yesterday and easy assembly even for someone who normally doesn't build anything like me.On the lowest setting its near enough silent, a family member walking past the room even asked me why I hadn't switched my fan on when it was on but on the lowest setting because they couldn't hear it!. The higher the setting the more sound it makes obviously, and you can definitely hear the highest settings but for me not enough to disturb or prevent sleep unlike my old (to be fair much cheaper) fan on any setting. Its more like a gentle background noise.Remote control works well too and air flow was strong enough to keep me cool on a swelteringly hot night.It has a natural mode which does nothing on lowest setting but will go between the lowest setting and whatever level you set if enabled- so for example if you have it set to level three it will alternate between speed level one, two, and three. I found at night that did disturb me though because the sound level kept changing with the speed instead of being consistent and was too distracting, so won't be using that mode at night. As mentioned by others the remote control does beep when used, but I'm not bothered personally as I'll obviously only be using it while awake anyway ;)Otherwise this is a great, well made and effective fan and highly recommended.

This is a lovely bit of home kit. I use it for keeping me cool during indoor cycle training as well as using it at night. It is fairly solid and the base is sturdy enough to greatly reduce risk of being knocked over. The remote - yes ok, is on the small side but it’s easy to use and there’s only 8 buttons to learn. The fan’s base has the same buttons on it for when you wish to operate the fan using your twinkle toes. I’ve got two cats and they’ve both demonstrated their ability at turning the fan on/off as well as increasing the speed and starting the oscillating function. This is amusing when it happens as they’re beneath the fan itself so don’t realise what has happened (ie they’re not being blown by the fan)…however…I’m fairly sure they’re working out that if they stand ‘there’ then our ‘keeper’ will get woken up and therefore give us food’The fan blades are well protected. No chance of little fingers getting in there.The fan is relatively quiet compared to others I’ve used. It does get noisier when on higher speeds - duh!The button selections beep but you can mute this.The optional mode settings are useful… especially for use during the night.I’d buy again.My only ‘gripe’ is that at full height the fan is not quite the height I’d like it to be. But… the fan head does tilt upward so it’s ok.

Really good fan - impressed. Was looking at spending more with an alternative brand, but this one looked nicer and had a better, adjustable pedestal. So far very impressed - we are using in a kids bedroom, so really needs to be silent and on the lower settings (1 and 2) it is almost inaudible. Levels 1 and 2 give a really gentle breeze which is also probably better for sleep. Level 3 is when I can start to hear motor noise, but even then it's low level - I use on level 3 during the day. Don't think I will use any of the other levels unless putting the fan significantly further away due to the noise and blast it then generates from level 4-5 upwards. Maybe those are more useful in a very big space.The remote is good and importantly it lets you mute the beeps. Possible improvements: if the remote had lit buttons and if it gave some feedback on the current active mode (e.g. current power level, timer countdown) - but that's about it.Bonus feature: the countdown time lights use binary and therefore give you a chance to entertain the whole family by discussing base-2 number systems and little/big endian concepts! This is a bit strange given the fan power level is 12 separate LEDs to tell you the current power level. In contrast to this, the countdown timer has only 3 lights to indicate how many hours left until it will turn off - e.g. 1-0-0 = 1 hour, 0-1-0 = 2 hours, 1-1-0 = 3 hours, etc... My family will surely find discussing this fascinating and I cannot wait!

Works beautifully, feels cool & very quiet. Remote works well & assembly was easy. Proof you don’t need to spend £400 to get a great fan. Money well spent.

Bought for last year's heatwave, after that it was put away till afew days ago, the middle of the stand cracked on its own, we heard a loud thud! Product no longer functional and it's not even covered by warranty. for the price, I would expect a better quality. Avoid at all cost!

(16in) Bought this as a Prime day deal. So far it is well worth the money. I can feel that even on the lower settings it’s throwing a fair bit more air than a Dyson fan I had previously. Looks really smart and simple, easy to assemble and operate, and it’s quiet which is the main selling point. Very happy so far.

Bought this on recommendation from my daughter to be able to sleep in the hot weather. it is very good. On the lower setting its almost silent and even on the higher ones it very quiet. Made all the difference in hot sticky nights and i will buy more as money and availability permits.

Really pleased with this fan - bought in preparation for the recent heat wave. I did quite a bit of research before purchasing and haven’t been disappointed, Easy to assemble, looks good, super quiet and decent vfm. And most importantly really good to help cool down!
