The GE bright stiks are in a fan light and the 3 way bulb on a bedside table. They're fine - the light is very bright and a soft color. I tried these Homelek bulbs in my hallway light fixture outside the other room and everyone that walked around the corner let out a shriek of surprise/protest when the light hit their eyes. It was just too harsh for the eyes - felt like you'd walked onto the set of Close Encounters. Maybe i can use these in a garage utility light - but not indoors. Also - one of the 6 bulbs arrived not set properly in it's base - it was attached at an angle.
