I have a similar one (piezoelectric) that does not work with propane. This work?** A: It works well on my old propane cook stove. Propane settles because it is heavier than air so hold the sparking tip just below the burner. I don't think it would work well on a propane lantern but haven't tried it. **Q: Easy to hold & push button? Easy to light gas stove? For arthritic hands?** A: I find the lighter easy to hold but it does take two hands to operate - one to push the button and the other to position the tip. The button is easy for me to push. I use it to light a gas stove and it works every time; just hold the tip at the bottom side of the burner since the gas sinks. **Q: OK... in the description at the top it says "no batteries or fuel ever required"... NO FUEL EVER REQUIRED? is it refillable? by god? please advise~** A: The charger does not burn fuel, so no refilling needed. In a "piezo" device, there is a small crystal that releases a static electric spark when it is pressed. Your own finger provides the pressure - hence the source of energy. Once you release the button, the piezo crystal returns to it's full size, hence becomes ready to be used again. It's a wonderful device. I have several, and use them for all of my gas-lighting needs. **Q: How much temperature is this unit rated for?** A: It's portable.
