Nice!
Nice! A heavy duty float switch at a competitive price. Better than Alderon float switches.

Worked great. Time will tell how it holds up
The description leaves out the fact that it has three wires versus the 2 I expected. This was fine. It means that you can use it for a variety of applications. In my case I need the switch to open when the water level dropped. This signaled the pump controller it was time to shut off the pump. Just need to use the right two wires and that was identified in the directions that came with the float. Using a different wire combination you could also use this same float to turn on a pump via a controller (or direct since the switch is rated to run a motor). Only surprise was it did not come with a weight for the wire. Not critical and this was just a bad assumption on my part.

Quality
He who uses a cheap float likes to repair things after they go very wrong . This is an industrial quality float meant to last . Never had any problem with these.

Does the job
For starters this bulb is quite large compared to typical floats. Being that it is so large, it might activate quicker than a smaller one. The mechanism is mechanical, steel ball when tilted triggers a micro switch, compared to mercury type ones, which are banned in some states. So far so good. Seems solid.

Excellent quality.
Excellent floats. Good build quality. I've replaced one of my older floats with this and can tell it's made to a higher standard. Instructions are clear cut and can be wired to trigger for fill or for empty. Very happy with this product. Being used on a 220v, 1 hp residential grinder pit.

Worked great in my lift station
This product worked great, I only used one of the leg for my lift station but went with this product based on reviews and how it was made/constructed since it sits in Poop all day long. Length was great as well which other products were 5' shorter and I needed that extra 5'. Worked great in my single stage lift station to turn on pump only. Will update if the product fails.Thank you

failed after 8 months because internal switch is only 10A
I bought this float because it was supposed to be "heavy duty" and I needed it to switch a 1/2 HP pump. Well it looks heavy duty, but looks are deceiving. The description stated that it could handle 13AMPs. Well after it failed In the ON position, my $1250 pump was nearly ruined because it was running for who knows how long. Luckly, I heard it cavitating and was able to shut it off at the breaker panel. After removing the float I decided to determine why it failed in such a short time period. The answer is that the internal switch used appears to be rated for ONLY 10A!(see photo) Its no wonder it fused internally to the ON position. Buyer should be also aware that the float is mearly a repackaging of another piggy back float switch, and the outter red plastic container is NOT WATER PROOF It was filled with water. This may throw off the float on/off levels you established when installing because the filled red bulb is heavier when filled with water. The red bulb also has an extra weight and styrofoam in it as well, so the styrofoam indicates to me that the design did not expect to be water proof. In conclusion, don't use this for 1/2HP pumps, it may be good enoguh for 10A at most.
