So Far So Good
I've tried a few of these heated gilets, and its a total minefield regarding heat output, build quality, reliability etc. I started high end £150 so called 'British made', had two that failed within a few uses, down to £40 Chinese brand (which is where I believe they all come from) that gave out no heat...all tried returned and refunded. In the end I thought try one more brand mid price range and see what happens before i give up. I use this for winter fishing. As for this item I've used just 3 times so far, so cannot speak about longevity or reliability. Build quality - a few loose threads here and there. very cheap pocket zips, one actually had parted already but managed to get it started correctly and working again. Main zip seems OK...Material is pretty much what you get on most Gilets and is warm on its own without the heating element. The fit is very good, not too long in the body and flares at the bottom nicely so when sitting it doesnt pinch or feel restrictive, which many do. For me the size chart is accurate. I'm usually XL and this fits perfect for me. Heat output - excellent, but people need to understand in order to feel the heat it cannot go over multiple layers of clothing (This is why many say they feel on the kneck but nowhere else). I wear a base layer, then a cotton T shirt, then the gilet and a sweater over the gilet, and feel all heat pads well. I use a battery that claims to be over 20,000 Mah. I think its closer to 15,000 Mah. I switch on full then the Gilet automatically switches to medium after a short time so i leave it on this setting and the gilet runs for about 5 hours or so...all depends on the qulaity of the power bank but for me this covers my needs of a 5 hour fishing match😁 and it keeps me warm...the only negative so far and this is true of many of these gilets, is that if you switch it off because too warm, you must unplug the power bank, and re plug for the Gilet to switch back on...this is a pain for me sitting in multiple layers of clothing, fishing bib and brace etc. as if i want it on again i have to peel off clothing to get to the power bank unplug / replug, so all i do is set to low if too hot and never switch off until my match is finished. As i say most Gilets do this and if you just use under a jacket for genral outdoor use its not an issue just just unzip and replug the power bank in. Regarding long term reliability. i hope it lasts and if it does it will be 5 stars. Given the price, fit, heat output, if it gets me through a whole winter season 3+ months then its worth every penny and i would recommend...time will tell !!

Does the job well
Bought this as a gift for my mum (uk 12, I got her a size L) it fits well a bit large but just large enough it’s comfortable. It's a bit big and gapes a bit around the arms but ideal to have a jumper under it. She really likes it, it packs down small enough (size of a large book) and it comes with a vacuum pack bag which is really useful to keep it in. It’s a gentle warmth and warms better when touching bare skin, the heat pads on the back are most effective. The quality is not amazing but defo not bad. The only negative is that the light the ON button gives off is a little annoying in my opinion as it’s just a little too bright. Would defo buy again and recommend

Instructions for use (and brief review)
Just my two pence worth as this does NOT come with any instructions of any worth. I got this as a Christmas present and it came vacuum packed and packed inside a box. It is of reasonable quality, however I am quite concerned about the lifespan of the internal cabling as it feels very thin. However, once you have sourced a good battery pack (get one that can supply 2.5amps or more - preferably 3.5a) you will be set to plug in and get the heat flowing.Instructions!Plug in the battery back to the built in USB connector. Tuck the battery pack into the pocket and into the elastic holder to keep it secure. The button on the front is the only control. Press and hold for >2s to turn OFF. Press and hold >2s to turn OFF.There are FOUR modes - not three as it states in the instructions.Press and hold the power button to turn on and for PULSING RED. In this mode, the jacket will heat up the fastest, and after 5 minutes will automatically go to SOLID WHITE.Press again for SOLID RED - This is the HIGH setting.Press again for SOLID WHITE - This is the MID settingPress again for SOLID BLUE - This is the LOW settingI personally find this jacket to be best used directly over a jumper or thick long sleeved shirt. Then over the jacket I wear my hoodie or thick heavy weather jacket. In this configuration, the SOLID WHITE mode is the best and is a good balance of temperature. Zip the jacket to the top to make the most of the collar heating for your neck.I use a thick but small rounded edge battery pack with 19000mAh capacity. I am not sure how long the jacket would run on this battery in this mode as I use the jacket every day (not always on) and charge the battery every evening, but I have had at least 5 hours out of the battery and it was showing 50% on the LEDs (but I would not rely on these for the real state of charge) in SOLID WHITE mode. Will report back when I have totally flattened the battery one day.My personal opinion would to not use a slimline battery pack as the storage location will have you leaning on this when sitting down. Use a thick robust unit where the (convenient) 90degree USB connector can slot in easily without putting strain on the cable of connector.I would rate the jacket as good, but it could be excellent if it were a little thicker and if you could control the individual zones independently. Pockets can get hot (really nice in bitter cold weather), and the collar not so much (could do with another couple of loops of heating wire to make it super cosy).Just my personal opinion.

Nice and warm
I found this a little stiff, especially around the neck. I'm normally size 10 so went for small but wished I'd got medium so I could wear it comfortably over jumpers. I gave it to my daughter-in-law who is a sixe 8 and she loves it. Thought it worked out quite expensive once I'd bought the battery too.

Heated vest
This is a game changer and have now purchased more for family. The only issue is is that it does not include a battery pack, so this needs to be purchased separately.
