I love this waffle/sandwich maker. It only makes 1 waffle or waffle/sandwich at a time but that works for the two of us. Since the waffles fit perfectly in the toaster, I use the leftover batter and make waffle for future morings. This appliance would be a great (gift) for a single person or a couple (who eat light breakfasts.

Easy to clean, easy to use good waffles with every use.

After unpacking I warmed up the waffle plates, let them cool, then washed with mild soapy water, dried and reinstalled them. I made my oatmeal-banana-almond milk batter, no oils, in a blender. After the light went out I poured in the batter. Then I waited, waited, waited, waited, opened it up, not done yet, flipped over the waffle and waited, waited and waited. I finally gave up and took it out, it wasn't as brown as my previous waffle maker. I decided to time the second waffle....12+ minutes to cook a 4"x4" waffle! Almost half an hour for two 4x4's. They should change the name to "Rip Van Winkle" waffle maker. That new odor being spoken about diminished by the end of my cooking. So still looking for an inexpensive ,must have removable plates, maker, any suggestions.

It works. Just wish it stayed off when the door is open. After it's done it will automatically turn on after a few seconds if you don't unplug it

This is the perfect size for one sandwich or waffle. And griddle plates wash well in the dishwasher.

It’s sleek, small and easy to clean the only flaw is that it takes a little bit too long to heat up and finish the waffle for my taste and need.
