Awesome Safety

Awesome product!First off i bought this product as a friend of mine was driving last summer and had a major crash as a result of rear tire blowout. He was fortunate to survive the crash as he had his helmet on and he was laid up for a couple of weeks with some broken bones. When I found this out i started searching for an in tire TPMS product as from what i read and experienced the in tire TPMS are more reliable and accurate as they monitor in tire temperature and pressure inside the tire. The out side valve monitors such as (Tyre Dog and Tire Guard) are easier to install but are not as accurate since they only monitor pressure and temperature outside the tire which is not as accurate and are so susceptible to theft as all you have to do is unscrew the valve cap and your investment is gone. The in tire TPMS has a direct read on the inside temperature of tire if temperature increases substantially then there is a probable pending tire failure as the there is more friction created with tire on the road and the tire will soon be unstable. In addition the in tire system can accurately monitor pressure with in .5% PSI which is great accuracy.I had to take my Honda Gold Wing to the bike shop to get it installed for $50. After getting the unit installed at my local shop (about an hour install), the unit put out pressure and temperature as soon as the bike was turned on and hasn't had any glitches for the month I've owned it. The only issue i have had is the display is a little hard to read when the direct sun is hitting it, so you have to angle the monitor down a little, if there is a tire problem then the light turns red so it is easier to see if there is a problem. The sensors appear to be very responsive and accurate as the temperature and pressure readings will rise from their `cold' levels after riding on the road for an extended period of time. With valves on Honda being difficult to reach, this unit let's you know automatically where you stand with tire pressure without having to get on your knees...a nice amenity for an older rider. Purchased this unit after the TireGard screw-on sensors started causing leaks from the valves and the Orange TPMS seems to be much more durable and longer lasting battery.A few bucks gives me a piece of mind as you only have 2 tires on a bike...well worth the investment..link to the install site [...]

the absolute worst customer support !

The unit worked fine for 2 months. Then front sensor quit working, a month later the rear sensor quit working. It took 2 months in over a dozen phone calls and emails to get the sensors replaced. The replacement sensors are NOT programed. I was told I'll have to take them to a dealer or tire store and pay to have them programed. I went to 3 different stores, nobody can program them. The unit is now as worthless as their customer service.

Possible Old Stock / Poor Customer Service

I first bought / installed these in 2010 - the first set lasted about 2.5 years. I tried to get / order replacement sensors but was never able to get a response from their customer service. I bought a second (complete) set and replaced only the rear sensor (programmed it to the old monitor) in early 2013. That senor is now dead after 9 months. I replaced the front sensor 6 months ago and expect it to be dead soon.I think the problem is that the sensors begin transmitting as soon as they are manufactured and have a life of 3-4 years from that date. If they sit on a shelf for a couple of years then you won't get much use from them. I imagine a company that stands behind their product would help you out with a prematurely failed sensor - not these guys though. I think my second set were old stock - trying a different brand now. When working, it seems to work well though; accurate readings. My rear tire cold spec is 42 lbs. When riding on a hot day the rear will go over the 50 lb limit and show an alert, which is annoying.

Good but not great

This works ok. Installation was a breeze. Simply get power to it and then install the valve stems in the tires. My only complaint is that the sensor in the front tire only works about half the time. Since it is inside the tire, it's not something that I can easily send back. It still works often enough for me to be ok with it. The one in the rear tire works great. Another complaint is that the display needs to be a litter brighter. It is very hard to see in direct sunlight.

installed on 2004 Suzuki Bandit 1200s

i purchased this unit two years ago with great results, it turns on and gets my tire pressure reading within a few seconds every time. so far it has lasted through three sets of tires without having to fuss with it at all. the only complaints i have is that somehow moisture has gotten into the display and during wide temperature fluctuations the screen fogs up a bit and becomes hard to read until it clears up, usually less than an hour. since this happened, the screen doesn't seem to be as bright in direct sunlight. despite this, I would definitely purchase this again for my next bike. the price is worth it.one more thing... while installing this in your tires, be careful not to over-tighten the valve stem nuts, this could possible be the cause of some of the bad reviews. but i couldn't know for sure....this is a completely unbiased review from a customer with no other ties to the manufacture. but if they want to give me a deal on my next unit, i would gladly accept. :)update.... I guess I will not be purchasing another unit for my next bike... I cant find one for sale anywhere and their website for the us market is for sale... too bad...

THESE UNITS WORK VERY GOOD AND VERY FAST AND ACCURATE. EASY TO INSTALL WHEN YOU CHANGE TIRESBUT YOU HAVE TO REMOVE THE TIRES FROM RIMS. I DONT KNOW IF YOU CAN STIL BUY THEM OR NOT.
