"Find something you like and use it often"
Those of you purchasing this product are probably into detailing cars, and by proxy, are probably familiar with Mike Philips of Autogeek. I've been using this product for years and while thinking about how best to review it, Mike's quote - "find something you like and use it often" - came to mind without any effort. Like many passionate car guys, I have a whole garage full of car detailing products; everything from Flex 3401s, Pinnacle waxes, Wolfgang polishes, Menzerna all-in-ones, Sonax wheel cleaners, Optimum waterless wash soaps, Lake County pads, etc., etc., etc. While many of those aforementioned products are absolutely fantastic, few of them are so incredible that they completely make comparable products from rival brands secondary choices. Einszett Cockpit Premium (ECP) is, however, one such product. ECP is so good, so overachieving, and so perfect for its intended use that as a consumer, I have absolutely zero incentive to try another similar product. ECP is the anti-Armor-All; where Armor-All style products are shinier, greasier, and more anachronistic than the Soul Glo in Darryl Jenks' Jheri curl, ECP is absolutely streak-free, easy to use, and inoffensively scented. In short, ECP is one of those products that truly accomplishes the mission that so many car detailers are in constant pursuit of accompishing, namely, turning something that appears "used" into something that looks as close to showroom new as possible. Some people may say that ECP isn't great at deep cleaning, and they'd be right. However, saying this is much like saying a hammer isn't so great at turning bolts. ECP is not an all-purpose cleaner nor is it advertised as such. ECP can be a cleaner as long as it's being applied in an interior that hasn't been abused. For people like me, who routinely keep good care of our vehicles, ECP is all they'll need to keep their interior looking brand new. However, if you're trying to remove interior stains that require honest-to-goodness elbow grease, this is simply the wrong tool for the job. What ECP does so incredibly well is remove that "lived in" look that daily drivers acquire over time with normal use. Things like dust accumulation, skin flakes/oils (gross, but true), and light grime are not only no match for ECP, but are magically replaced by a surface that has a complete matte finish and for all intents and purposes, looks brand new. Because it is 100% streak free, you can use this in places that other similar products are persona non grata. Have you ever made the stupid mistake of directly spraying a cleaner/protectant on your steering wheel only to find that the ensuing overspray drenched the gauge binnacle? For some reason, every gauge cluster I've ever seen uses a clear plastic material that's almost impossible to touch (even with a dry microfiber) without leaving a smudge. Using a lesser product in this case turns into a frustrating process of trying to clean the overspray without leaving a smear. ECP is so smear resistant that you can be as ham-fisted as you want, and still end up with effortlessly new looking dashboard, center console, nav screen, door panels, etc. So, to sum up, ECP is cheap, stupidly easily to apply and use, leaves perfect results, smells light and subtle, and leaves absolutely ZERO residue to the touch. If there's a "better" interior protectant/finisher, I have no idea what it would look like as it's very hard to improve on flawless. As a result, ECP is my forever go-to when it comes to car interiors.

Excellent product - a MUST HAVE for your detailing kit!
I bought this based on other people's reviews and was so not disappointed at all! It IS a MUST have for all of you who love to detail your vehicles and keep them looking in pristine condition! The sprayer had no issues as I've had before with other products. The spread of the spray was even and not too wide nor was it too narrow. The product has a nice lemon scent which in my opinion helps to remove any odors in your car and leave it smelling very fresh. I use this product on my Porsche Boxster on the dash and other plastic parts. It does NOT leave a shine like other products or a sheen, but a nice matte clean layer. Which is great because I'm sure some of you have received the glare/reflection of the sun from off of your dash and it's not a nice thing when you are driving especially in high volume traffic. It is easy to apply and dries within a few minutes. For the leather in my car I used another product to first clean and then a separate product to condition the leather. If you are still using Armor All then be prepared to blown away with this product. After using this you will never look back and recommend to everyone you know to get this product! If you are all about quality, want to have a nice easy to clean and maintain interior then don't hesitate in buying this product! Luckily I never used any other product on my Porsche because I only want the best for it - and this IS it hands down! Definitely a must have in your garage!

Everything from Einszettes is amazing!
I've been an Einszettes fan for years, I love everything I have tried from them. From polishes, sealants and cleaners, they all work amazing. Other than it's amazing ability to clean, Cockpit Premium smells great. It's kind of a difficult scent to describe, but if I could only choose one word it would be "clean". Pair Cockpit Premium with their glass cleaner Schlibeklar (windscreen clear) and the interior smells wonderful. One of the first things customers comment on when they first sit in the vehicle upon delivery from a day of detailing is the smell of the interior. Everyone loves the smell, and they all say it just simply smells clean. Cockpit leaves a nice matte finish on the dash and surrounding plastics. Much like the finish looks as the car leaves the factory. Cockpit also has UV protection so it will give a nice little layer of sun block to the dash. If you like your dash to have more of a shine to it, you'll want to buy Einszettes Teifenfleger (can't spell). That will leave a nice soft shine on the plastics and provide the same protection as Cockpit. Teifenfleger also looks great on exterior plastics and tires. $10 a bottle on Amazon was the cheapest I have seen Cockpit in a long time. As always, super fast shipping and packed like fine china. Hope this was helpful.

Great for Piano Black, Carbon Fiber, and Touchscreens!
I’ve been using this product for quite some time with good results. However, I just recently purchased a new car with lots of piano black and carbon fiber interior details and a large touchscreen (AMG GLC 43), and Cockpit Premium works PHENOMENALLY well to clean these surfaces scratch-free. Super impressed with it’s ability to remove fingerprints AND leave a non-greasy streak-feee finish. I’ll always keep this stuff at hand.

Good product if you don't want shine
I use this on my wife's minivan. It cleans and protects all the surfaces without leaving a shine. In the past, any shine reflects off the windshield and makes it difficult to see. This product leaves no shine, but cleans wonderfully and protects. I also use it on my rubber floor mats to clean them and dress them. Any residue would be slippery and unacceptable. So, this is the perfect product for the mats too. It has a light, citrusy scent that is fresh.

Love it
Great at cleaning and not leaving an unnatural shine. Pleasant and not overwhelming odor as well.

Matte finish, upscale and clean professional look for your interior.
I'll be really honest, I've always used windex or a slightly damp paper towel to clean the dash and interior of my cars over the years. I'm not a detailer, and I've never much cared for spending gobs of money on 'specialty' products to clean my car. I wash it, I vacuum it and I drive it. This changed a few months ago when I got an S4 and realized I really like when it's clean, and it's unlike any other car I've had. In doing research I came across Matt's YouTube channel and then his website, obsessedgarage.com, where he has a very unbiased an honest review of the products he uses to clean his cars. Cockpit was his suggestion for interior and I honestly couldn't be happier I bought it. I used a clean / new microfiber towel and applied Cockpit directly to it, and it was a little rough to wipe things down, I'm thinking a different weave of towel might be better? But wow, not only did it remove the light dust that was on the top but it got dirt and grime out that I had no idea existed in the 2 months of owning the car. The dash pad, door and center console are all different materials, Cockpit cleaned it all really well and left a super matte / new car look to things. I'm past the days of super shiny tires and Armor All glistening dashes, I just want an upscale, professional look and Cockpit provides this

My favorite interior product.
I have searched far and wide for an interior cleaner. That is a good all in one. I have certainly found it with this product. The strikes the best combination of leaving a slight finish that is not shiny or greasy, but does have a darkening ability to the product, application is very simple, spray on, wipe with a microfiber towel, then wipe dry with a separate towel or a dry side. I don’t use it on leather, but it cleans every other surface on the vehicle interior extremely well. It has a mild, pleasant, chemical smell, that I find rather neutral. A little goes along ways and a bottle will give you many interior cleanings of a sit in sized vehicle. The car is very dirty. This is not what I would use, but for maintenance, interior cleanings this is my new favorite.

Sehr gut.
Kann ich nur weiter empfehlen. Ich brauchte es hauptsächlich für den Klavierlack im Auto, sauber und vor allem keine Schlieren. Angenehmer Geruch.

Awesome
Amazing product. Easily beats any over-the-counter cleaners - cleans quickly and doesn't leave a glossy, greasy shine behind like many other cleaners. I used just small amount with a microfiber cloth and was very happy with how quickly it took car of the mess the winter left in my cars. Great for any interior surface, including steering wheel. As noted, this has slight dust repelling properties - but don't buy it for that. Buy it because it flat out cleans great and basically makes your interior look like it came from the factory, instead of looking like it got bathed in shiny lube. A user below noted the formula changed, but the product I received was as described by nearly every review I can find. Leaves a slight, refreshing citrus scent afterwards that dissipates in a few minutes. If you're reading this and you're on the fence about buying - try it. You'll never buy those other products from the Tire store ever again. nextzett products for the most part are incredible and this is not an exception.

Excellent interior cleaner, bottle could use redesign
Excellent interior cleaner, probably the best one I tried so far. It cleans and protects the interior dash and panels very effectively, restoring it to factory look and protecting it from heat. It also repels dust well. It’s not a high gloss formula by any means. The scent is pleasant, think citrus fused with a touch of mint and the scent doesn’t linger around for long. My only complaint is the design of the sprayer. It leaks easily if the bottle is not kept upright so make sure the bottle is always upright when you are using it. When the sprayer is locked it doesn’t leak. Not sure if it’s just my bottle.

One of the best interior protectant and cleaner.
Forget armorall because that is garbage, this is not. Has a nice citrus smell that doesn't linger around and has good cleaning abilities. Matte finish like how it came from the factory and dry to the touch.
