StyleScent Blow Dryer

This hair dryer is called “StyleScent” focusing on a feature that I guess sets it apart from other hair dryers, a “scent vent.” It’s a small, vented plastic piece that fits on the air intake screen and holds a few scent beads, thereby blowing scented air as you dry your hair. There are three small containers of scent beads included with the dryer, each with 12-14 beads titled Refresh, Rejuvenate, and Relax. I put four beads in the scent vent and the scent was definitely noticeable while I dried my hair, but not overpowering. The plastic containers of scent beads come in a small, velvet drawstring bag. For me, the beads are an extra, not what enticed me to order the hair dryer. I may use them, but won’t miss them when they’re gone.On to the dryer itself…it’s great! It is a powerful hair dryer, 1875 watts, with dials rather than switches to control both the air flow and the heat level giving you a wide range of customizable choices rather than one or two choices of high or low. I really appreciate that feature and for me, that’s what sets this dryer apart from others, not the scent beads.The dryer is a little heavier than the one it replaced for me, but definitely not too heavy. It just feels like a solid device. There is a rubber ring at the end of the handle to hang your dryer if you choose to do so. Also included are two flat nozzle attachments, one a little wider, one a little smaller. The cord is very long, nine feet, by far the longest I’ve ever had on a hair dryer. It does not have a swivel at the base, so it will get twisted over time.The product information mentions blue light to condition the scalp and negative ions to eliminate static. My hair was not staticky when I finished, but I can’t say I noticed any real benefit to my scalp. With my very thick hair, I suppose it’s possible the blue light didn’t even reach my scalp!Everything is nicely packaged in a sturdy decorative box with a lift-off cover. Put on a bow and it’s ready to gift!I’m happy with this hair dryer and recommend it.

This is my first scented Professional Blow Dryer. I was very impressed. The blow dryer came in a beautiful gift box. It will be a nice gift to anyone. It is very presentable and looks classy.Included in the box are a black pouch with 3 different scent beads. It is very simple and easy to insert the beads. It took me less than a minute to do it. The beads smell great. My favorite is refresh. The provided beads will last a long time as you only need 4-6 beads and they are good for multiple uses. Just FYI, the scented beads are optional and not required to use the blow dryer.The blow dryer is very nice and powerful. I have long hair pass my shoulder and it dries my hair quickly. I wasn’t a fan of the dials to operate the blow dryer. When you are holding the blow dryer in one hand, it is difficult to move the dial from right to left. Maybe I need more practice.

This is a pretty expensive blow dryer. Is it worth it? You have to decide for yourself, but I will say this blow dryer has a lot of very nice features. The cord, for one, is very long which is very nice when moving around, turning or moving the blow dryer to parts of my head. the cord is not very stiff, so drapes and moves with me as I need. Another cool feature is the heat and blower controls are rollers that I can easily move with my thumb as I’m drying my hair. This is a very convenient feature. As I move to different parts of my hair that has varying thickness, I can dial down/up the heat and blower without stopping and using my other hand. I’m already used to this feature and its very nice! The dials do click off when completely off. There is also a button that I can reach with the same hand that temporally turns off the heat. When I release the button it returns the heat to the previous level. Again, not a feature I would have thought important, but it is very handy. The outside texture of the unit is very nice and provides a strong grip. There is a nice ring at the base where you can easily hang the blow dryer for the next use. It also comes with two attachments that are great for different styling or hair types. One of the features is the scent. I was leery that I would use this, but placing 3-4 scent pellets in the holder created a very subtle but pleasant scent that I enjoyed while blow drying my hair and was slightly retained after. Obviously using more pellets will increase the scent. This is yet another feature which I didn’t think was important but ended up being very nice. If price isn’t key, this is very nice, very professional blow dryer with many nice features.

Very nice, high quality dryer. Has a soft, textured feel and grip. Comfortable to hold and use, easy to adjust with thumb wheel speed and temp controls along with a quick cool trigger button. Excellent power with quality attachments. Not crazy for the scent chamber as it is fussy with staying locked in. Perhaps I need more time using it to figure out the trick to getting it to twist/lock in place. The scent is a neat touch, not for everyone but good to have that option available.

The media could not be loaded. This stylish blow dryer has an unique appearance and is an innovative work-of-art. It allows me to not only control the direct airflow, but offers me heat control as well. Now, what other blow dryer does that? Oh, I know. Only this one does! Plus, it conditions my scalp, keeping my long strains of hair silky and healthy from the root.And, I adore how I can remove the StyleScent and add a variety of aroma beads (just a hand full gets the job done!) that unleash an elegance of tantalizing fragrances. Sometimes I’m in the explicit mode for a ‘Refresh’ scent… other times, I’m feeling Scarlet Red and ‘Rejuvenate’ is the decorum of the moment.Yes. There’s a bead scent for my many mood swings. This is what a high caliber blow dryer should be… this is a HAI Beauty Concept!

I feel like this is fancy for a hair dryer but I love it. I've never had one that has a scent. The scents smell nice. You don't have to use them. It dries your hair quickly. Feels nice in the hand.
