Great chalk paint
Paint coverage is great and easy to apply

Great coverage, easy to apply.
I have used other paints on furniture before but this was by far the best paint for covering furniture even unsanded parts. I did use two coats. I bought this 16 ounce size and still have a little left for touch ups. I did use a water based poly to protect the finish.

A Great Finish With Dixie Belle Products
I wanted to refinish the vanity in my master bathroom. The vanity was “dated,” with heavy-grain, honey oak cabinets that matched the kitchen cabinets. I did a lot of research, and found “how to” videos on YouTube. I liked what I saw, and heard, on videos for Dixie Belle paint. The process was “labor-intensive,” but not difficult. First I used a product to clean the vanity, then used black Dixie Belle Mud to fill the wood-grain, followed by three coats of Dixie Belle Caviar paint, and four coats of Dixie Belle Gator Hide protective finish.I was so happy with the look of the vanity, I decided to do the bathroom cabinets which had a smooth finish. I used Dixie Belle Slick Stick primer, followed three coats of Dixie Belle Caviar paint, and four coats of Dixie Belle Gator Hide protective finish. It took time to complete the two projects, but it was much more cost-effective than a new $3,000 vanity, and another $400 for new cabinets. I’ve gotten lots of positive feedback on the finished bathroom renovation! My next project is to tackle the vanity in the guest bathroom ... with Dixie Belle products.

Love Dixie Bell products for my furniture projects. I used to think it didn’t mater what chalk paint to use, but Dixie Bell changed that opinion. Great product!

Best chalk paint on the market
I've used Dixie Bell paint on a whole ton of projects - the biggest being the complete re-do of our kitchen cabinets. Complete with three coats of verathane, sanded, and then hand-rubbed with wax. Big project but they look really, really cool.
