Nikon Monarch M7 8x30.
Fantastic Binoculars and well worth the investment. They are extremely compact which is great for small hands. Excellent, colourful, eye-filling image with great close focus and wide Field of view: 8.3° and eye relief is 15.1 mm. Overall I highly recommend 5*!

Very good
I am pleased with these. They seem to be very well built and feel good in the hand. The image is excellent, bright, clear and very sharp with good contrast and lots of detail at all distances. As a bonus I think they look good - tidy and workmanlike with subtle and discreet branding etc. At this lower price 275 GBP they are good value. Overall very, very good.

Great compact binoculars.
I own ProStaff 10x42 but wanted something better. These are smaller but brighter. The sharpness and clarity is well above this level. Superb field of view. They are light but feel very good quality. For the price they are hard to beat.

Excellent mid range, lightweight pocket(ish) binoculars with high end capabilities
I wanted to buy these bins a few years ago in Media Markt but they only had the Nikon HG 10x30 model which was reduced from €1150 to €600 which was a steal. I loved the HG version so much that I started to use these as my main bird watching binoculars instead of my Swarvoski 8x42 as they were so much easier to carry around and take on hikes, cycling trips etc. The only downside was they’re a little fiddly to get use to with the focus range and small diameter so I was looking for a good deal on this M7 8x30 model (which I found on here for €287) as they have a wider field of view and much more suitable for the type of casual birding I’m into e.g, cemetery birding, parks gardens , bird hides in wetland areas etc. The M7 version is a fraction of the price of the HG model which supposedly use better parts and they’re made in Japan instead of China but optically I really struggle to tell the difference in terms of quality. I prefer the Nikon M7 8x30 to the Nikon Monarch 10x30 HG version which is over double the price. I highly recommend these binoculars to any optic nerds who want high end quality without paying Leica, Zeiss & Swarvoski prices. Once you’re a highly skilled birder you’ll realize you don’t need to spend £2000-3000 on binoculars which line the pockets of companies who make their money by hunting all of the things you love. I rate these 9/10 which are perfect for beginners and also for more advanced birders. If you’re studying birds in flight on migration I would stick to 8x42 as they’re much better all rounders

Mejor no.

Smashed box and markings on the binoculars?
Just got those little M7 8x30 and before even testing them, I notice that they have been sent in the original packaging without any extra protection and the box is smashed. Then after opening it I see markings on the rubber coating of the binoculars. Apparently it's only "superficial", I guess that's what you get with Amazon's lower price tag, maybe they have already been returned by other customer(s), the plastic bag inside is not sealed anyway... Looking through the binoculars I can't find any default so far, good brightness, field of vision is wider than my previous Monarch, lightweight... I'm hesitating to return them, with the risk of getting a copy with lower optical quality. After a few months of use I'm happy with them, main issue so far is glares that can appear when you have lights near the field of view (or even from side/behind and reflect on the exit pupil), but it's not frequent. They are really small, not pocket size, but to the point you need to hold them with the fingers more than with the hands - or else with just one hand! it's perfect if you want portability but may feel a bit strange for some people.

Buon binocolo compatto e leggero
