Does the 100 amp work good with car amplifier and subwoofer over 800watt rms?

Yes if you run an appropriate car battery in parallel with the 100 amp power supply. Stereo shops use the 100 amp unit as well. Think of it like this, the power supply is the alternator and the battery is the power source. Car batteries are everywhere and cheap. Run the two together and you will be just fine.

Anyone know how to contact the manufacturer regarding faulty product???

I also got a 120a pm3 LK for charging my lifepo4 bank. The unit fan did not work for 4 days then started working and the converter changes volts and amps constantly after it is on for 15min.. clearly a defective unit.. I emailed powermax. They responded a few times to trouble shoot. Then once we established the unit is faulty now they refuse to respond to my emails… disputed charge on my credit card… not a good way to run a business.

Which model (Amps?) would be suitabe from 900 starting watts/700 running watts?

900W equates to 75A at 12V dc. W=V*I or Watts=Voltage times Current. So though the 75A model will work, but I would use the 100A model just to be on the safe side.

Is there any reason i can't replace my 55amp with this? Will my 3500 watt generator run it?

Yes, a 3500 watt generator will provide 29.2 amps at 120 volts, however my 100 amp charger draws 17.1 amps when providing 91 amps output, so 120×17.1=2052 watts consumed to provide 12×91=1092 watts, giving a 53% efficiency ratio. Your 3500 watt generator will run one charger with power to spare, and would run two at low output figures, but would trip a breaker if two chargers were both supplying maximum output.
