This is a Brand Name Premium filament and it absolutely shows. It's not some junk stuff like elegoo or sunlu. It prints amazing in silk grey and silk gold which is a lighter gold not thst ornage gold. The spools were so beautifully rolled to assume no tangles. The flow is amazingly smooth and the shine is phenomenal. HIGHLY recommend with good silk settings and a decent printer. Its almost a perfect match to beaker and similar to bambu labs titan grey silk. If ur like me and use name brand stuff and habe zero issues cause you have a good printer you will love this brand.

I can always depend on Amolen to deliver a quality product. The bed adhesion was great. I use a cool plate, so I rarely have adhesion issues. I use containers with hygrometers and silica gel to keep the filament dry, so I have never experienced any brittleness. The color is exactly what I wanted.

Ill start off with what my printer is, its a Creality Ender 3 S1 Pro with 200C temp and 60C hotbed settings at 50mms. Ill start off with the Pro'sPros:It looks niceIts very flexible, and bendy, doesnt seem brittle at all and will tend to bend and not snap.Mild stringing even at high humidity.Excellent vase mode quality with excellent layer to layer adhesion (even on failed prints the layers stick to themselves very well).Now for the Cons:Dont print the articulated crystal dragon, ANY of them, or anything even LIKE it, EVER. If its a detailed print in place object, brim or no brim, adhesion layer, supports wont help. Just dont and ill explain why.One of the biggest issues ive had is when it needs to retract, now this could be mitigated if you dry it, but you can only do that so many times. What this filament wants to do is puff up, and it will want to do that inside the extruder which is not too much a problem if its constantly extruding. (which is why vase mode works perfectly).This filament prints large prints pretty well and really loves builds that have constant extrusion. It hates anything that requires a lot of retractions and replacements of filament. The deer head that is shown as the example is also funny enough a good example of what you should be printing with it.Ill put some final thoughts and keep in my I only had two filaments and this is one of them so far and this is my first printer.Bed Adhesion 3.5/5 doesnt like the first layer sometimes.Layer to Layer Adhesion 5/5 (it sticks to itself very well)water absorption 4/5 (like a sponge)Flexibility 5/5 (almost acts like flexible filament if its thin enough)Its finnicky, hard to dial in and sometimes does amazing prints and sometimes hates you.

This filament is beautiful, I've made dragons, and eagles with this filament. If I could give it a 10, I would. I'm running it fairly fast on my K1, and haven't had any issues with it. I've had no issues with tangling or breaking. It's very easy to use, I've been using a generic setting for PLA on my slicer, and it works great. The overall print quality is top notch.

I got this spool in 2022. First time I tried to use it, I had problems with layer adhesion and extruding. Tried all sorts of temps (including the recommended ones listed right there on the spool) I have a flash forge adventure 3. For the life of me I could not get it to adhere properly to the print bed and anything remotely salvageable looked terrible. Not good for any sort of detail work / anything “complicated”Second time I used it, it clogged so horribly I had to replace the printer head on my printer because I could not clear the clog at all. (Trust me, I tried everything) and I also had to replace the tube & coupling that fed the filament into the printer head. This clog was so bad I had to disassemble the feed assembly as well. Had it not been for the ease of getting flash forge parts from there site and how easy it is to pull the printer appart, it would have killed my printer irreparably. I tossed it in a bag with oxygen absorbers and promptly ignored it, and basically dubbed it the cursed spool.I’ve learned a lot since that point and decided to touch the cursed spool again. I decided to print off a very simple print that many other of my “difficult” filaments from other manufacturers seemed to do really well with. I recognize that “silky” filaments are notorious to be difficult but I have others from different manufacturers and *never* had a problem like this one.I DID NOT REALIZE THE ENTIRE SPOOL WAS A KNOTTED TANGLED MESS. I regret not returning this when I had initially got it, but that was primarily due to my inexperience at the time. It was among some of the first filaments I had gotten and didn’t know better. I some how managed to get a print out of it (it’s a split color, so the first 15 layers of the print are in an entirely different filament) and you can see how deep that tangle of filament ran on the spool.Then I looked deeper into the roll. You can literally see it runs throughout the entire roll how tangled the whole thing is.

I love Amolen’s colors, especially the Azure blue. Their gradients look fantastic on prints and add amazing dimension soon without post processing. You do need to make sure you dial in your print settings and play with supports depending on the model, but most silks need this attention. Once your settings are solid, the prints turn out gorgeous.

This is an excellent color especially if you're using it for parts for lightsabers, sword blades And pieces of armor

Heute habe ich mal das Glow in the Dark PLA 1,75 von Amolen getestet . Da ich noch nie so ein PLA gedruckt habe wollte ich das auch mal versuchen. Hatte jetzt schon so einige PLAs der Firma Amolen und war bisher immer begeistert.▂ ▃ ▄ Verpackung ▄ ▃ ▂Das Glow in the Dark (grün und blau) PLA kam in der heutzutage üblichen Verpackung.Kleiner Karton mit beiden Rollen drin – diese waren Vakuumiert und es war ein Flyer mit allen PLAs dabei und deren Temperaturen▂ ▃ ▄ Durchmesser / Qualität ▄ ▃ ▂Wichtig bei bei Filament ist immer der Durchmesser auf mehreren Metern. Große Abweichungen abseits von den 1.75mm beeinträchtigen das Druckergebnis. Deshalb wird das Filament von mir immer auf 10 Meter alle 25cm mit einem Messschieber getestet. Bei diesem PLA habe ich auf diese länge eine max. Abweichung von 0.03 gehabt was ok ist.Gewickelt ist das PLA sehr gut – hatte ich auch schon öfters meine Probleme aber hier keine Spur!▂ ▃ ▄ Setup ▄ ▃ ▂Ich habe einen Anet A8 mit Bowden Setup.(E3D Hotend)Ich drucke auf Glas mit einer Bed Temp von 54C. Nach einem TempTower Druck habe ich mich für 190C Nozzle Temp entschieden, weniger ist hier mehr um stringing etc zu vermeiden (Angegeben sind 190-220)▂ ▃ ▄ Fazit ▄ ▃ ▂Ich teste gerne neues Filament und das Glow in the Dark PLA von Amolen ist wirklich klasse. Die Rollen sehen beide eher weiß aus und je nach Sonnen/Licht aufladung leuchten sie dann im dunkeln blau oder grün- richtig cool. Zusätzlich dachte ich durch das Leuchtmittel stinkt es extrem giftig beim drucken – hat es aber nicht und Amolen wirbt auch mit „natürlichen“ Zutaten für das PLA. Preislich sehr attraktiv (2 Rollen ~50€) und die Qualität lässt wenig Wünsche offen.Ich bin sehr überzeugt von dem Filament. Nach mehreren Testdrucken und einer Wunderschönen Figur für die Kinder (ein Kürbis der leuchtet) bin ich voll und ganz zufrieden. Die Leuchtkraft ist klasse und es macht wirklich spaß damit Halloween oder andere Dinge zu druckenBei zu hohen Temperaturen gibt es blobs und stringing also so niedrig wie möglich ansetzen (bei mir hat 190 gereicht)Haftung auf dem Bed ist sehr gut bei oben genanntem Setup. Bläschen oder dergleichen habe ich keine außer bei einem Test mit hoher Temp.Ich bin überzeugt und spreche aufgrund des Preises eine – klare Kaufempfehlung aus

Un gran filamento, realmente estoy muy satisfecho con su calidad, volveré a comprar

I can pull string by string layer by layer (not only the first layer). I've tried to decrease the speed, higher and lower temp doesn't change a thing. I've tried value inside the range for this filament. I've also tried to dry it, doesn't change a thing. The first layer seems fine at first but it can be riped apart. This is the only brand that I have that does that. Won't buy anything from AMOLEN anymore.

Das Produkt an sich ist gut......aber von 2 farbig kann nicht wirklich die Rede sein......es ist eher ein flipflop Filament mit Glitter in Grün. Ich bin hierbei eher von einem Filament in in der Art wie Regenbogen Filament ausgegangen. Also mit Farbverlauf.Haftung und Qualität ist aber Gut bis sehr gut. Nur halt die Beschreibung hatte ich anders interpretiert.....
