The inner fold of this door trim has adhesive that sticks really well. It cuts easily with scissors too. I used it to nake drawer edges on an old tool box I was restoring. It worked great. Now the individual drawers have a nice outlined look. Super easy to install. Just peel away the plastic strip on the theAdhesive and press it onto any edge you want outlined or to protect from chipping or snagging. It is ideal to install over sharp metal edges to prevent injuries.

It stays in place well. I had another brand on a different car and it started coming off in a couple weeks. Just under a year and it looks OK. The silver layer is under the clear layer and it is starting to yellow a bit.

Sometimes you get what you pay for this was one of those times adhesive did not work I kept falling off waste of money don't buy

I bought this to replace a name brand product that I was unable to use because it melted itself together. I was very impressed by this product because it had a red strip over the adhesive to pervert it from gluing itself together. The strip also made it easier to apply as it helped separate the seam as you pulled it. Will definitely buy again if I need more.

I spent a little bit of time putting these door guards on my ‘66 Mustang and 1950 Plymouth.I had bought another style of car door guards from Amazon for my Toyota truck. Putting the non adhesive guard on those doors were a breeze. The opening of the guard slide nicely on the door. Now on the other hand, these door guards that I bought for my vintage cars was VERY difficult to put on. The opening that should slide on, did not. It took prying the guide open in order to put on the edge of the door. I found it very difficult , even after watching a video. I was exhausted after doing both cars. I hope it stays on the doors now, looks sharp. Was it worth it… I don’t know!

I covered the entire edges of the four doors in my Nissan and I still have in stock.

A great quantity of product for the money, easy to use. Cleaned the adhesive from the precious door edge using WD40 and spray cleaner. The new product had an inner tape I pulled to expose the door edge adhesive. Was extremely easy . Just press it on.
