I have used this tire repair plug pack many times, and it has always worked great. Whenever my tire gets punctured by a nail and starts leaking air, I repair it myself using this product. I travel long distances frequently and drive everywhere, and I have never had any problems or air leaks after using it. You buy this because a rogue drywall screw just ruined your morning, and you refuse to pay a shop $30 to fix a lawnmower, ATV, or truck tire you can clearly fix yourself. Opening this pack is an experience. These black, 4-inch strings are so incredibly sticky and tacky that I'm pretty sure if you dropped one on a cat, you’d just have to rename the cat "Slime" and accept its new life as a tire component. They are odorless, require absolutely no messy glue, and are thicker than you expect. The installation process is pure, unadulterated manual labor. Once you ram the reamer tool into the puncture to clean it out (an excellent outlet for workplace rage), you thread one of these tar-caterpillars into your eyelet tool and shove it into the tire tread. It takes some serious "elbow grease," and you might question your life choices midway through. But once you yank the tool out, the plug magically stays behind, sealing the hole instantly. I pumped the tire back up, trimmed the ugly excess rubber "tail" sticking out of the tread, and it held air perfectly. The Pros: * Massive quantity: It comes with 30 plugs, which means I am prepared for the next 29 times my neighbor builds a deck and spills nails in the driveway. * No messy glue: They are self-galvanizing, meaning they seal themselves without needing a half-dried tube of rubber cement. * Unbeatable seal: Kept my off-road tire alive through mud, rocks, and sheer driver incompetence. The Cons: * The stickiness is eternal: Wash your hands immediately unless you want your steering wheel permanently bonded to your palms. Works the way it should. has never leaked I have always wore the tire out mileage wise.This is a great permanent cheap Repair for any tubeless tire. I carry the kit in my car and probably had to use it three times in the last 20 years these plugs work well and apparently last in my tire well for decades. Easy to use and a quick permanent repair.
