TRXTraining X-Mount, for all TRX Training Models

It came with wood screws. Be sure to drill the proper pilot hole into your wooden stud. I installed my with a socket wrench and a good sized handle. It scratches up the paint on the bolt heads a wee bit but that's an easy thing to touch up. I have grabbed it and hung off it (165 lbs) and it feels REALLY solid. I purchased this to use for shoulder physical therapy. I needed an overhead spot to hang my pulley and other stretching straps. To go with it I purchased an Omega Pacific Standard Oval Carabiner and the TRX Training - Xtender strap. The set-up works well for my purposes.

Works great. Installation was pretty easy. Followed the guidance from another review and drilled two small holes on either side of the ceiling joist to more easily locate the center of the joist. As mentioned by the other review, the small holes are covered by the x-mount. You will want some white nail polish or other paint to touch-up the bolts after installation - one of the downsides of the white mount. Glad we purchased this as I feel much more confident using the x-mount as opposed to the door mount that came with TRX we purchased.

Appears to be strong. Easy to install but larger than I imagined. So glad to finally have my TRX Suspension Training and Rip Trainer properly installed vs just using door jamb device. I would suggest trying to install in ceiling for better spacial training (suspension device) rather than on a wall.

I mounted this in my garage and it works great. I installed a 17.5" - 2"x6" in between my runners and bolted this in. My wife uses the TRX all the time along with her clients and it holds well.

It's a metal plate with two loops to anchor your TRX in the wall or ceilings (provided you know how to properly install the anchor bolts to a stud and not just through the drywall). It won't make your family thanksgiving dinner, it won't feed your pets, it won't even read your kids a bedtime story. It will provide an equal and opposite reaction in proportion to the force you apply and keep whatever is hanging on it in a static position. As long as you temper your expectations, it will perform as advertised and you will be satisfied. I'm still waiting for it to put my turkey in the oven for me and I'm running out of patience...don't make the same mistake.

Works great. Takes a little oomph to lag into a stud but once done it’s sturdy and not going anywhere.FWIW I feel the white color is less obtrusive mounted on my white ceilings over other color options (don’t mind the dangling bumble bee colored straps...). Lag bolts are same white powder coat finish (I did not get the rubber caps like some people mentioned getting) so make sure you use correct size socket to avoid turning the corners and damaging the finish. Recommend drilling pilot, using drill on low speed to get it most of the way, and then finishing by hand.However, I had to order a couple times - first one was missing a section of paint, second one was missing a smaller section of paint... you get the picture. The defect was in the same location so I speculate it was due to how it was supported while powder coating - maybe a sacrificial piece was snapped off after the whole thing was powder coated? The flat side is smooth and fully finished as well.

Very well made. Provides a very solid anchor for the TRX. I found it easy to install. I mounted on to a 2x8 beam on my patio cover. Make sure you use a 1/4" drill as instructed. Do not be tempted to use larger. This insures that the mount screws (which will be very tight) do not come loose.

It works exactly as described and was easy to install. It works great, I wish I would have gotten one a long time ago.

Just finished installing this - it was a good workout just securing it to the ceiling with the included 3-inch lag bolts using a socket wrench. I used a 3/16" drill bit to create pilot-holes. This size hole is large enough to guide the lag bolt and small enough not to compromise the lag bolt's grip. The mount seems very secure. Also, I installed mine on a spackled ceiling so I scraped off the bigger lumps to allow for a more even mating surface.Unpacking tip: The plastic bag the X-Mount comes in is not sealed so the X-Mount almost slid out of the bag when I picked it up. This thing is heavy and would probably break a couple of toes if it landed on your foot.I'll update my review once I've tried it out a few times.

En mi caso suficiente para un agarre sólido.Le pongo 4 estrellas porque he intentado conseguir el soporte en acabado blanco pero en en dos ocasiones me han enviado el acabado gris y he tenido que gestionar su devolución.No obstante, satisfecho para el entrenamiento en una vivienda.
