It’s definitely fit the collector and reduces it easily, installation was easy connection is tight. I think it’s a good value for what it does. The rubber is very durable and quality. It should last a long time.

Precise Fit for DXV05S-QT When Upgraded to a 2 1/2" Hose
Very well made, precise fit that is also lightweight. Very useful silicone flexible adaptor with clamps as well. I used it to vacuum out a clogged dryer vent and it was beautifully compatible with my upgraded 2 1/2" hose fitted on my Dewalt Stealthsonic DXV05S-QT. The connectivity is effortless. It is a very worthwhile addition to the attachment kit I put together for handling various cleaning up situations.

Purchased to adapt 4" dust outlet on bandsaw to a 2-1/2" hose on a wet/dry vacuum. Fits fine and solves the problem. Not wild about the screw clamps. It's nearly impossible to use a nut driver on them, and the way the heads are cut a Philips bit doesn't work well, best to use a flat head screwdriver. Wish they had the clamps with sort of a wingnut-shaped mechanism to tighten and loosen them, would be much easier to install.

Used for my contractor table saw dust collection
Perfect fit on the Woodstock Table Saw Flange (available on Amazon) to make a sawdust collector for my old Delta contractor saw. The output opening is also a perfect for the standard 2.5 in shop vac hose.

I bought this with the Powertec 70169 mini gulp hood. Fits directly to that and allows you to connect a vacucum hose with relative ease.
