These ones work great and hold well. Sturdy and useful for thick hair. Also the clips don't slide out of my teen's short hair. Cute vintage look.

Better than expected
I have fine hair so it is hard to keep barrettes in my hair, I bought these to use with ponytails to make them pretty. These barrettes have ridges when you open them up and they do not slide out of my hair at all. I do not have to put anything under them to keep them in place.
