Q: Would this work on ypg-625?

Yes, it should work. It's a normal 1/4" male connection, and as long as there is a 1/4" jack on the rear panel of your keyboard, I see no reason why it would not work. It works just fine with all of my keyboards, and as a pro musician, I've got too many to count at this point. It even works with my midi controller keyboards, which I rarely use it with one but did on one occasion and surprised it received the signal. Here's a link on the exact specs of your YPG-625. Scroll down to find more information at the bottom where the pedal is listed. You will see that it definitely has a 1/4" jack. The great thing about Amazon...it's returnable, in new and unused condition. They've been excellent when I've purchased an item I thought was completely compatible to find out that the one little glitch no one knows about (or mentions) surfaces in the form of a inpenetrable block wall. I say it's worth a try, as I see no reason why, technically/electronically, it wouldn't work, as long as there's nothing wrong with the input jack on your keyboard.

Q: Does your pedal have a switch on the bottom? Mine keeps changing function even though I'm not manually adjusting the switch.

Mine does not have a switch. It sustains sound just like piano pedal. ❤️💕
