Battery has small charge indicator on the side. Battery arrived 2/3 charged which is apparently best for long term storage of lithium batteries. Battery is slightly more than half the weight of 4Ah battery fo very good for tools you might use for hours. I recently bought the Parkside cordless pruners which is why I wanted the lighter battery. Charger is basic and can charge 2Ah or 4Ah batteries. Slots on back so it can be hung on the wall. Comes with EU two pin plug, so I have ordered a plug converter.
