I know they are not made for this, but I linked all 4 together and put them in a frame and made a faux window for our basement. Honestly, it’s fooling people. Looks just like a real window. Added a curtain rod with some sheers and it brings tons of light into our dark basement.

These light were perfect for the ceiling in my laundry / pantry area. They are low profile so they fit in my ceiling grid where I don't have much clearance.

These lights are really lightweight and easy to install. The blue wire is ground and the brown wire is hot (there are no instructions in the box to explain this). The lights are FLUSH with drop ceiling tiles and complete a really clean look. I took away one star because the light color is a bit off. It is advertised as 5000K which should be a pure white light. It actually gives off more of a blue light expected at around 6500K and has had the effect of making my light gray paint come off a bit on the lavender side. If this was in any room other than my newly created spare-room in the basement, I would have probably uninstalled and returned them...but given the application, I am going to learn to love my lavender walls.

When our turn came for installation, we realized the mount was wrong. It is RECESSED. Return window was too short for us, as we were in remodel process. We opened the damaged box first, and a bracket was broken, but since we could not use them anyway, point was moot. lesson learned...open box when it arrives even if you don't need it for awhile. Can't rate the product, we aren't going to use them.

these are ovef 2” thick they are not thin and won’t fit if there is ducting above

These were so much brighter than the old lights. I was going to add an extra one, but didn't need it.
