very handy to carry the cards with her when away from home.

I am not deaf or hard of hearing, I got interested in learning it after watching Sue Thomas FBI on TV,a show based on a deaf woman that worked for the FBI. So I just wanted to learn sign language in case I ever meet a deaf person. The cards are beautiful and have helped me learn the whole alphabet and so much more! I bought a second set for my sister and she's excited to learn too. I've also watched some videos on YouTube which are also very educational. Highly recommended!

I wanted to learn ASL, but felt so overwhelmed with where to begin & didn’t want to stunt my desire to learn with anything too wordy. These cards are colorful & glossy & although the boxes seem to fall apart somewhat easily (like maybe the glue doesn’t hold up?), the cards themselves seem well made. The cards cover alphabet, 0-10, months, days of the week, weather, clothing, emergency, what/where/who/when/why, colors, animals, family members, seasons, some adjectives, & maybe more (can’t remember off the top of my head). They have made starting to learn feel manageable & enjoyable & each card has a description of the hand motion as well as occasional tips to help you remember (like x looks like a pirate hook aka x marks the spot). I am almost through them & feeling much more comfortable & confident to dive in & learn more! Thanks for these! (I did receive one duplicate, but have the right number of cards, so I must be missing a card.)

These are good but the boxes fall apart easily.

Did read some of the reviews before ordering. I am missing one of the card in the Starter package and that was April. But if you practice the Alphabet before doing the months it really easy to figure out. If and when I decide to give these cards to my kids I would be annoyed that April isn’t in the package. But so far so good and a easy way to learn simple sign language

Sturdy and very easy to read.Only one problem...I did not receive the beginner pack. I received a double of common words. I would like the beginner pack please.
