Budget price, quality nice!
This is a great knife for the price. My buddy bought a Benchmade for more than double the price of this artisan cutlery. Then ended up liking the this knife so much, he had to get one for himself. I got the budget version with AR-RPM9 stainless steel, and a G10 handle. The more expensive 1 had s35vn stainless. The s35vn is more of a premium steel, but I'm happy with the ar-rpm9 It's easy to sharpen, and it gets sharp enough to shave with! Even seems to have good edge retention. Front flipper took some practice, but also it has a thumb stud. This knife has awesome action, it flips open very easy.

Good blade value for the money. But no 5 stars.
I have had my Artisan Cutlery Sirius for about a week now. I found the price very good for an S35VN blade. I have front flippers that I enjoy fidgeting with like the Kizer Fiest (original, stiff ball detent), Civivi Exarch (quite nice, but smaller), and Cold Steel Metamorph (original).OVERVIEW:The Unboxing:The knife came in boxed and in a fabric bag with the knife in a protective plastic bag and Desiccant packet. It is Ray Laconico design and has a very gentlemanly look to it.Action:Deployment with the thumb stud is pretty darn quick. The thumb stud does protrude a bit above the plane of the scale. The front flipper flips okay and is not nearly as quick as the thumb stud. The red micarta is fairly smooth and does not have that canvas or blue jeans feel but it is well finished and looks nice. The knife us assembled with 3 screws plus the pivot. The clip is titanium and is not deep carry and is right-handed tip up only. In gripping the knife, there is no problem with hot spots with the clip.Blade:The S35VN came sharp. The blade shape fits my needs, it’s a nice slicer as I was cutting up cardboard, and slicing open envelopes like butter.THE MEH DEPARTMENT:The Info Card:This is the not so good. The info card brings cheapness to a whole new level from the eye of the beholder. They used a stock card, or a card from another knife that didn’t sell to well and put little stickers over the model number, blade steel, and name. Really? The Lock Bar:This is kind of a sore point for me. At first there was a bunch of stiction but this has worked its way out with my fidgeting. One of the things that kind of bugs me, is that the lock, The access to the lock bar is through the radius cut out for the thumb stud. The lock bar for the thumb has a radius in it with no jimping and the radius narrows the edge of the lock where the thumb comes into contact to around 0.020 thousandths (0.5mm). So repeated access will eventually build a callus on your thumb for sure. The Front Flipper:The sharp point on the spine of the scales is annoying. IMHO needs to be a little more rounded as it tends to catch your thumb when finishing the flip and it can leave the thumb a little sore after a while. So, this will be resolved with a little modification project. The flipper tab does have three large jimping cuts.OVERALL:I like the knife and it will not be going back. It is a good price for the steel that is used. Yeah, I have some knit picks, but hey, for me it’s a good EDC and should have a long life.Cheers.

This things almost perfect in every way
Like the title says this thing is almost perfect, I will be be carrying this one all week. So I cycle through the knives in the picture I attached above about every 2 weeks, theres a few of them from Microtechs, spyderco, Esee, think there’s a kershaw in there too, and an Ontario. This Artisan is perfect in size, super light and super thin, carried it all day today and it wasn’t noticeable in my front right pocket at all. Thing is sturdy, flips super fast and smooth, and it’s got a great spear point on it, way better than my Zancudo. It’s just a tad smaller than the Esee Zancudo and the RAT-1 in the pic but the Sirius is way lighter and thinner, comes in just over 8” open, it’s perfect, if I had to change anything, maybe a deeper pocket clip, but I love this thing, I’ll buy another one tonight just to have 2. If you carry a blade on you daily, try this Artisan Sirius, it is sick and worth every penny, super easy and comfortable to carry, like I said above, I carried it all day today and maybe rode 6 miles with it on my mountain bike today and didn’t even notice it in my pocket. Going to buy another one after i finish this!

Great knife for the money
I don't have any other pocketknives to compare this to, so when I say it's a "great knife for the money," I mean that it a great value compared to other knives I reviewed for a week or so leading up to the purchase.- it came extremely sharp- the materials are good quality, including the metal used for the blade and clip, the hinge mechanism, and the clip. It's a easy recommend for a knife novice looking for a reliable foldable knife to carry.

Good feel, good looks
Don't write many reviews. But for this, I will. This knife, for the price, is worth having. It's a sleek, non-assuming, functional piece that just (to me) feels good. The blade is very sharp but slightly thin. Not sure yet, and hope not to have to find out, how the blade would hold up if your life depended on it. Extremely easy to open. No play in the blade. Overall, minimalistic, but handsome at the same time. You can call it an EDC, but let's call it what it is, a cut and jabber. It's a knife I would carry in a 3 piece tuxedo or a set of jungles.

Very surprised by this knife. Not what I was hoping for from a company that I have always liked. One of the few knives I have ever returned.
