Poor craftsmanship in person compared to picture
Virtually no detail in the carving compared to the image on the site. It just looks like an oddly shaped block of wood from a distance.(Living in Hawaii I’m fully versed on the amazing details that can be created in wood carving techniques, and this isn’t it!)So unfortunate as this was meant to be a gift for a mourning friend, but it’s just not genuine enough to give as a symbol of the weeping Buddha.

I bought this statue for my office space and I must say, it looks wonderful. I think the statue it speaks volumes in it's silent simplicity. Workmanship and quality of wood are in alignment with the five stars I have posted. I would definitely recommend this product/ purchase again.
