Kirkland Signature Solid White Albacore Tuna, 7 Ounce - 8 Count (Pack of 1)

To me, this product is quite good quality and a far cry better than the other most advertised brands. However, I do pause buying it until the price becomes a bit more reasonable.

This is the only tuna I will buy. It is high quality and provides a decent serving size. I don't like the smaller cans.

I suppose that coming from a small town where there is no real choice in the two grocery stores I've become used to substandard products over the years. I've had to learn to accept the degradation in quality while prices increase for products across the spectrum. One of those products that particularly annoys me is canned tuna. Starkist, Chicken of the sea have both become little more than canned swill from the processing plant floors and counters. I used to love tuna but over the years even the so called solid white, chunk light etc, are little more than third rate offscouring while the quality parts of the fish are sold overseas or to expensive restaurants. But now I tried Kirkland. This is tuna the way I remember it. Solid, light to white, with a slight pinkish hue and a really great taste that reminds me of the aforementioned companies products decades ago when I was a child. The price is, in fact, lower for this than what I am forced to pay locally for product that my cat would refuse and I will order Kirkland tuna as long as I am able and hope that I never have to resort to those other brands again.

This is my favorite and only tuna fish I will buy. When I lived close to Costco I would buy it all of the time. After I moved and Costco was too far to travel to I was happy to see I could get it on Amazon. The fish is packed in water, flaky and is very light in color. It doesn’t have a strong fish smell or taste. My family loves this tuna.

Still the best tasting tuna for us with meaty pieces.

I only eat albacore due to it being the highest grade. Thi product is consistently high quality.

The Kirkland Solid White Albacore Tuna is just that... solid white and tastes great. It is, however, about 25% higher priced than going to Costco and buying it directly. Unfortunately, there is not Costco store within reach so I bit the bullet and paid through the nose for this product. Delivery was prompt since I have Prime shipping... but the cans arrived with some serious dents in three out of the eight cans in the pack. I will certainly buy the product again... but not from Amazon.

I'm 75 and have eaten a LOT of tuna in my life. When I was a kid canned tuna had NO fat in it. It was all chunky white with the can absolutely stuffed tight to the sides can with tuna. And it was affordable. Over the decade's inflation, cost cutting and limits had canned tuna showing more fat and less quality white meat. So, obviously the taste went downhill, and the cans got a little smaller. I even stopped buying supermarket tune because it was so bad. So, one day I started researching top rated canned tuna which had me trying this brand. WOW, this is seriously good tune. Maybe a bit more than you might expect for a can of tune. But consider; the can oz's and the absolute quality, the flavor (!!!) it's a no brainer for me! Could it be the best tuna ever?

The quality of this tuna is excellent. I’ve never tasted any tuna like that.
